Shooting those smaller shells is starting to look really attractive, especially with TSS prices. What speed were those 20ga loads shooting at? Was running a final test on some bismuth chicken loads for my A400 yesterday before I loaded the whole batch, just lined up to the target at 40 yards and a pair of ducks flew not 20 yards over top of it...season is open here.. challenge accepted. Hammered the lead mallard, it piled up and fell straight down so fast i forgot about his friend. Picked him up and was pleased to find 3 of the little #6 shot had gone clean through the head and there was only one near the top of the breast. 12Ga, 2 3/4, 1 3/8oz 1260FPS. This loadout puts around 285 #6's in the 30 inch circle at 40 yards. I tried to clone a Boss duck load - Being in Canada our idiotic laws won't let them ship ammo to us. 1 1/4oz bismuth #4's @ 1350 put 183/188 pellets on a 30 yard circle with the IM factory choke! Both of them using AA hulls with 209's, SP12's, Longshot, and zinc plated sphero bismuth.. can't give more details on this platform because the 2A haters will delete this comment, but the middle of the 3 loads given on Hodgdon's site for that powder and hull combo will put you where it likes to be before the pattern starts to flare out due to excess velocity. Now it just needs to cool down a bit in the evenings so they start to fly... Thanks for the video!

Hello :) so I have a question in regards to the shell ejecting itself after a shot is fired I’m wondering if someone can answer for me? I’ve been told that the shell will not eject itself if the gun isn’t shouldered? Is that correct?

U can see from a distance the carrier isnt coming high enough and the shell is pressed againt against the barrel just a tad from entering the chamber.............. My advice is take the gun apart and check why the carrier isnt going up high enough to line up with the chamber...........Make sure it does line up with the chamber,u can maybe bend it a hair,clean the gun internaly where parts move,maybe u have gunk preventing the lifter from doing its max movement,or u can file a hair off here or there so he lifter gets up a bit higher.... Many ways that lead to Rome....
