The worst thing that can happen wile fighting the aliens is one just coming up behind you and instead of attacking it just straight up yoinks one of your team mates your best bet if you react fast enough pop the alien with a grenade launcher round it wont damage your Allie so don’t be afraid to use game logic as well as real life tactics to your advantage

I made it through like 3/4 of the game years ago on PS4, then life took me away for awhile and I’ve been meaning to go back now that I have a decent PC. Is it silly of me to think i can just jump right in to Resurrection after all this time?

As a fan of Legend of Dragoon, I can see where you're coming from on the dialogue. That translation makes it really hard to pick up on the charm and context of things unless you've played it a bunch of times. The thing with Dart's attitude towards Shana is that the translation doesn't do a very good job of portraying that Dart (and Haschel) is explicitly WRONG but also understandable in that he used to be the person to protect her. The main source of friction for those two is that Dart is slowly coming to terms with the fact that she's come into her own when he was gone for five years. Feelings like that aren't going to go away overnight and it's only when that gets resolved that they get outwardly romantic with each other at the end of Disc 2. It's pretty believable if you can get past the admittedly VERY stilted translation.

0:47 - somebody has already said the OG BioWare team is barely there anymore. I’m turned off of this game solely over the modern day dialogue EVERYBODY is talking about. I still can’t believe this is not the same BioWare that made the classic games from back in the day.

Also you frame it as a negative that you get the final weapon about 5 hours in and then have 3 hours more to go but anytime the game gives you your final upgrades at the very end people complain that they had no time to utilize those upgrades or weapons because the game just ends right after so it seems like either way a developer does it people just want to complain that it inst the other way

What do you mean 8 hours isn't very long when you consider it's a $20 game lol. Most AAA horror games like 8 to 12 hours long and their $60+ And indie horror in the $20 to $30 range are usually even shorter. Linear narrative driven games like The last of Us, uncharted, tomb raider Are usually shorter at maybe 16 hours max but again cost $60+ Hell the original max payne will cost you $15 and its just a emulated ps1 game and is like 4 to 6 hrs I think $20 is a absolutely fine price for a game this length.

ngl.... i'm amazed that nobody has like put this as a recommendation series...... on google. i just stumbled upon season 2 today, skipped thru a bit and thought it looked pretty interesting and then i noticed, something doesn't add up so after watching episode 2 of season too, i thought something was fishy. did some research and noticed there's a season 1 with 25 episodes. so far i am at episode 6 and i am loving the storytelling so far it's amazing.
