I am planning to play this mod rn, just from your footage tho i think ur spamming block a bit too much, which is fine for a normal playthrough but that shit will not slide with no kuro charm, maybe this is why you feel like there is no open window to attack sometimes, because there is actually a lot of animation downtime where you kinda let go because of being scared reacting to the move later.

@Pixelated Thoughts If they polish the graphics of Castlevania Lords of Shadow as much as they did with the Lords of Shadow 2 and they make the game shorter by removing certain levels (such as the music box and other longer levels) and make the circle- merge the same as Lords of Shadow 2, and give Gabriel different Costumes I'll definitely buy it.

@Pixelated Thoughts Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 also deserves a Remake. It should be easier to remake this game, since it wasn't very long. I would definitely say wings should be available from earlier on in the game (like with the LoS 1).

Hollow Knight: Shadows Die Twice

When y'all were talking about the additions and auto-completing them, are you guys not aware that there were items in game that did this? There was one that auto-completed but didn't count towards leveling up the additions, and another one that auto-completed and still counted towards leveling them up. There were also gears that boosted dragoon stats, attack stats or defense. Some of the items you could purchase would literally carry you through the game by negating almost all physical or magic damage. The only downside Is that these items cost like 10k gold and you can only find like 1 of them through chests, and it's extremely grindy to hit that amount of gold, you could probably get through the entire game without ever earning more than 15-20k overall tbh. Also, Albert was Llavitz's king not his teacher. And he became the dragoon because fate was bringing the dragoon together, it was explained in-game that even dart wasn't the true red dragoon user and was only able to use it not only because rose activated it, but also because he was actually the divine dragoon user. Also Shana wasn't unusable at all, her dragoon power was absolutely the best healer class in the entire game and her single shot attack not only filled up her dragoon meter extremely fast but it also did decent enough damage once it was leveled up with gear. (Note that she also wasn't the true user of the white dragoon either and only had it because shirley gave it to her in order to postpone the sickness she had from being the moon child, which is why she didnt fully benefit from it and also why it abandoned her and went to Miranda once she showed up in the story.) I think if they really wanted to remake this game they would only need this: Updated graphics/timing Adding in quests/side missions and just more story overall Open up the exploring area instead of the overhead map style of travel Add in more additions Better currency economy and balancing And last but not least, they need to make it more mature. In many ways it was a very rough and real story where the impact mattered, but then they also had that weird kid style romance going on. Overall I can't really agree with your thoughts on this. A lot of complaints you brought up were things that are either explained in game already or things that could easily be taken care of by simply grinding for a bit to buy the proper gear. The one area that I can agree with you on is that there should definitely be a better form of balancing since the characters are either combat or magic focused and even with the proper items you can really only choose to either make them strong in that thing specifically or make them mediocre in both things equally. The story was already fantastic imo but obviously it would be even cooler to have more so I won't really argue that point either in this case.

After all this, I hope Sony realizes that single player games are the way and maybe they could add a multiplayer component like with Uncharted or TLPU Factions that can grow into something bigger if it does good, didn’t that happen with GTA Online?

Love the game. One other thing that really helps is to learn the maps and how to get through them. Helps to complete the most difficult setting.

Ahhhhh, I didn't even make it 3 secs in the video before I had to shut it off

I just spent the last 2 days playing through it, it's a great game! It lures you in by treating the setting as absurd as it is, before it just smacks you in the face with actual interesting and well though out world building, believable and larger than life plots and rewarding progression. It does at times become maybe a bit too easy, but the optional challenges help give you something to strive for. It's short, sweet and a complete package. Just like the two other titles from Suspicious Development Inc. A solid title if you like the type of game.

Not gonna lie, this game, tho repetitive I'll admit, was such a breath of fresh air. Like there is no ground breaking graphics or complex gameplay loop but rather game play that reminds me so much from shooters from the early 2000's such as Max Payne, which was what this game was clearly inspired by. I remember going through this game and the dialogue was what made the repetitiveness at least bearable and the gameplay was so smooth that this game felt like something that would have been made during the og Xbox and PS2 era. After 13 hours ( yeah im serious it took me that long as i time myself whenever i game and i kept dying in certain points ) this game was such a beautiful experience, with a simple gameplay that is as simple as simple goes. A story that reminds me so much of a relationship i had a with woman two years ago and ill admit i was like James, i didnt care about myself, i only cared about her so going through this game felt like it was aware what me and many others such as myself went through and decided to make a story where even tho we are hurt from broken relationships, we can always come back and start anew. I always play this game alot because its not only addicting, its therapeutic in a way that i never imagined such a game like this would pull off such context. Like after the credits started rolling ( which i got the good ending where he i assume becomes a vampire after drinking the vial given to him by Draculae ) i remember feeling so emotional and actually was considering in giving a standing ovation because again this was an experience that I would be happy to replay over and over for years to come. In all honesty, tho the future is uncertain, i would be so down for an El Paso Elsewhere 2 sequel because this game was love letter to a bygone gaming era that has sadly been overtaken by a gaming era that lacks the heart and soul the games i grew up playing. 10 out of 10 period

While I am intrigued by the story, I'd mostly want to buy this for the ocean exploration and being surrounded by wildlife, and taking pictures of animals. Would you say that it's still worth picking up at that point? I got excited when I saw the trailer because it reminded me of Beyond Blue, but I have a feeling it's not like that. Great review!

Last I checked, Sekiro: Resurrection does not change the Shura specific bosses yet. So Emma and Isshin are probably base game still. Edit: Also, there is a mod to move the Owl Father boss to outside where the drunkard is. I would definitely recommend that mod if you are playing a difficult version of Owl.

So with this mod be super careful which graces you go to. If a buddy goes into a cave it’ll cancel fast travel for both of the players. This also goes for RANNIS tower (I made the mistake of joining another friends game where they were further into rannis questline) this made it so when we tried doing eannis questline in my world she wouldn’t complete the dialogue leaving us stranded in the tower
