Finally a complete guide well explained 🙏🙏 btw, to add weight on legs of any kind of stand, I now simply use a speed clamp upsidedown (or any pro clamp with a long enough pin) and slide small gym plates on the bar. Way cheaper than the pumpkins, clean, compact, available anywhere 😉

I found the idea of using a junior-baby pin converter in the grip lock to be brilliant, thanks. Just surprised to hear you say they are $8 there - 4-5x that price here in the UK and even on Ali Express they are like $25. I need a friend in the US to post me one lol!

So I’m thinking about getting a C-Stand for my light but I was wondering if it would make sense to get a second one to replace a tripod for my camera (phone). It seems like a second C-Stand would be more useful than a tripod. I plan on doing a lot of overhead shots so the arm would be nice. (I have the space and won’t be traveling with my gear.)

I literally gasped when you showed how to use the reflector like that with the c stand... thank you so much for everything in this video, it was exactly what I needed!

How do you take the lock off knob completely off? I’m trying to clean it because its not rotating easily, but it seems the all of the knobs only come out to a certain length and then stop

Great video, what boom arm adapters do you need for different items? I may want a mic on the end, or a camera, or a light. I know a C stand might be over kill for a small mic, but I already have other stands and tripods, but I might as well get a more versatile boom stand that can support more weight giving me more options.
