Welcome to KothaOkahini!
Today, we are coming to you from a beautiful homestay nestled in the heart of Ella, Sri Lanka. This place is nothing short of magical. Surrounded by lush greenery and with clouds playfully drifting around, it feels like we are in a dreamland.
The best part of our morning here was undoubtedly the delightful breakfast. Sitting amidst nature, sipping on a warm cup of tea, and watching the clouds roll by was an experience to cherish. Moments like these remind us of the simple joys of life that come from connecting with nature.
But as much as we’d love to stay longer, it's time for our next adventure! Today, we head south to explore some of Sri Lanka’s most stunning beaches. We’re excited about the journey and what awaits us.
We booked an Uber for our trip, and here’s an interesting twist-our driver turned out to be a great conversationalist and spoke Hindi fluently! He shared that he had worked in the Middle East, which gave him the opportunity to pick up the language. It’s always amazing to connect with people and learn about their stories, especially while traveling.

What Ravana? It is the fortress and the Palace of King Kashshapa. before Kashshapa move the capital to Sigiriya Buddhist monks used to meditated . After Kashshpa suicided capital of Sri Lanka moved back to Anuradhapura again and after that again Buddhist monks started to meditated there. What Ravana's? there are no evidences of Ravana in Sri Lanka, There are many 1000s years old hindu temples in Sri Lanka, But there weren't any Sitha, Ravana or Hanuman Temples in Sri Lanka all those things related to Ramayana made in last 200 years . After British brought Indian workers to work in tea plantations and before that in coffee plantations.
