Does the stakes secure them good ? Newbie here
I'm still using this setup in 2024 and I still love it
Its a great set up
So cool
I was definitely excited to see it
Great vidio
Thanks
Please keep making more videos
Im gonna start making them every so often i just can make multiple a week
hey bro I'm from Miami but if I ever make it to Louisiana I would like to go fishing or hunting with you same if you make to Miami
Absolutely anytime you down this way we can get you on something
Thank you for the video! Paper instructions not that good. Would like to see a video of the settings and what not:) Maybe you already have these and if so a link would be great.
I actually havent played with the setting much. I use it mostly for depth and temperature.
Nice video Headed to Lafitte in April from Alabama any suggestions bait or places
Matrix shad lemonhead or holy joly on a swimbait hook. I like to use the berkley fusion weighted swimbait hooks. I like to fish the south end of the Pen. Trolling the banks for reds and bass. For specks i would run out to barataria bay and fish structure generally in the area of north of four bayou pass is good. If you have any more questions feel free to message me on facebook or instagram.
Here is another one th-cam.com/video/InWokKGdS2c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PlvvA3i1tLqZ30lJ
Please do more catch and cook
I will start to make some occasionally
The instructions for this assembly SUCK! I couldn't have done it without this video. THANKS!!!
What bait and lure do you use? This year I’ve been using one of them big marshmallows and some dunlap’s coon sweet on the rim
That’s awesome good job keep it up
Thanks! Will do!
Maybe delete the video to keep this fishing spot safe??? Met 2 people yesterday that said they watched this video and figured it out. It is a gem spot for reds and bass.
So there is another TH-camr that has tons of videos in this location. And he is way more popular than me.
I'll have to give those a try.
Great baits and its a small business.
QUESTION: 1. Is the bag waterproof 2. Can or will the battery get wet If bag is exposed to water.
I have never had the in the rain in the but ive splashed it and the battery stayed dry. Since this video I actually mounted it in my kayak and the battery is now under the deck in a holder.
@@TheLouisianaOutdoorExperience Oh ok, thank you very much. Good Luck
Put your bate in panty hose
Where y’all fishing? This looks like the canal along Delacroix highway. I’ve always wondered if that canal is any good
Its right around Reggio. I am just a terrible angler but there are fish to be caught.
Been gone for a minute but I'm happy to be watching your videos again and definitely will be subscribing to the podcast keep up the great work
Thank you for the support
Also, I used the holes in the bottom of the big base to route the cables to the battery. Not necessary I don't guess, but it made it a little nicer looking.
What is the 4th screw hole for? I noticed the base would fit on the 3 screw holes you used or it would fit using the screw hole closest to the battery. I couldn't figure out any reason to choose one way over the other
This portable bag can be used with different versions of the Garmin Striker which are larger and use different mounts for the connection.
With those drags you have; you will be tracking your catch into the next county. Save yourself a lot of time and disappointment. Use Freedom Brand Sabretooth Drags. They are hands down the best drags on the market and come in two sizes. One small size for coons and similar sized animals and a larger size for Coyotes, Bobcats and those size animals. As for your nasty traps, at the end of the trapping season, load up all of your dirty traps into the back of that big truck, take them to a carwash and wash them down really good. You can thank me later.
I actually dont use drags hardly at all because of how narrow the properties I trap .
Cool video
That kayak is bad ass. I might need to get one.
Definitely worth the investment. I have never felt like i was to flip it.
@@TheLouisianaOutdoorExperience That's also good to know. Do you like that more than a normal 14" Jon boat?
@@TheresOneOutdoors absolutely i had a 14 jon boat and never used it since I bought my kayak
@@TheLouisianaOutdoorExperience interesting. Good to know!
Da Parish!
Watched you on Outside the Levees. Awesome.
Thanks for watching
Great video
Thank you.
how many different boats you fished in one weekend
Three, well four if you count the Friday I went with you.
What area were y’all fishing? (Parish)
Plaquimines/Jefferson the Barataria basin. If you and any questions feel free to reach out us on any social media platform.
@@TheLouisianaOutdoorExperience just curious I’m in Lafourche (Thibodaux) but usually fish Lac des Allemands
I grew up in st charles fishing Des Allemands/bayou gauche area. I will be moving back so you should be seeingvthat area a lot more.
Me: THATS A BIG CROCODILE OR ALIGATER
Aligator
Is it dead?
Yes but alligator is a highly control species with only a certain number of tags issued and very strict on how to harvest them.
@@TheLouisianaOutdoorExperience you can harvest alligators?
Yes highly regulated. Due to regulation i couldnt film the hunt but i am going make a video on the cooking side and explaining the regulations on hunting tagging and relorting the harvest.
YOU COOK ALLIGATORS????? 🤯 😲
@@these_handles_r_dumb yes they are good table fair. At 8pm on october 12 ill be on pelican bone podcast on live.
Wtf is this shit ?

Dead boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiyiyiyyyyyyyyyyy
Just saw you on Outside the Levees. And just subscribed to your channel.
Thanks man
Just got myself some tags today. Redfish hold a special place in my heart, I wanna do what I can to help them out.
I normally throw most redfish back anyway so at least i can do some good with it now
@@TheLouisianaOutdoorExperience most of the time when I go, I typically take home at least 1 red if I can. I have on occasion taken home an overslot red, but wont be doing that anymore. I had just started fishing again when covid restrictions shut my job down at the time. Used to fish with my dad as a kid, but didn't really absorb what he taught me back then. I've certainly come a long way as an angler the past couple years thanks to youtubers like you.
Man fishing has changed so much in the past 20-25 years it is crazy. Its funny because my uncles and I are into the tactics and methods of chasing diffent fish but when we go with my pawpaw je fishes nothing but dead shrimp on a jig head.
@@TheLouisianaOutdoorExperience Lately I been focusing on catching with artificials. I bank fish Lake Pontchartrain most of the time. Everyone swears the fish there won't hit lures, but I've had a few nights where I managed to dial in on them. I do typically bring one rod these days to use live shrimp or cut bait on a set rig while I'm throwing lures around. Ain't nothing wrong with using bait in my opinion.
Haha never thought about it like that 👍
👍 nice. Just got mine 3 days ago. Thanks again for the subscriber giveaway. Hunting season is so close so I probably won’t get to use it till this spring when I get back in fishing mode.
Im always in fishing but i have a pond where i hunt
@@TheLouisianaOutdoorExperience nice, We don’t have a pond but we do have a couple creeks that have red eye bass I just need to learn how to catch them!
☝🏻he don’t know
@@dirtmanwithSLO ima find out tho!
Mais dey don tase like CHICKLETS !! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Great video !
Thanks for sharing I’ve caught a few but never knew what they were. I guess I though it was a crossbreed of bream haha 👍 good to know they are good to eat to, that’s always a bonus for invasive species
I actually learned about them 3 years ago and spiraled and learned everything i could on them lol
Winner winner chicken dinner!!! Ima send you a message on Facebook
That’s about my luck lmao.
As soon as we get to another 100 subscribers we will do another one.
Sounds good man
I would like that video on the riggin
I will do some rigging videos soon
#REDSNAPPER I don’t know if I’ve ever had any of that almond sauce. That look pretty good though man. Good video and nice catch for sure
When I was in Tennessee almost every restaurant had it on top of rainbow trout. Jared from Outside the Levees did it on top of catfish a few months back and i realized how simple it was. Thanks for watching.
No problem man. We went to Missouri to go catch some rainbow trout and now that I know about this I’m going to have to do that
what pound test was that rig. that mono thick thick.
100lb test. I think im gonna start making my jug lines with it.
I do like the catch and cooks 👍 also like catching them doubles man makes it feel like you got a monster fish on
The spinning reel and rod in the first made them all feel huge.
