I had a good start, too bad I lost Gap on every lap, but it was fun to race.

Ah, the game with the strongest steering assist.. I remember back in the day I had to upgrade my PC to a Pentium 3 to get the game up and running..
in F1 challenge steering assist was ultimate help. Here Rfactor 1 Simulator that was based on same engine I think steering assist does not really help at all to be fast. It just make you stay on track for total beginners. F1 Challenge came out in 2002 2003 i think, and Rfactor 2005, way better racing game in my opinion...
i remenber in rfactor if you look inside of files theres a option to change to assistence to something like F1 challenge and another one based in F1 2001 i think. @@adrenaline87
sounds interesting, but i do not know anything about that except the basic ON/OFF assists in the game ... where in F1challenge from my experience my lap were to 2 to 3 seconds faster in F1c with steering on, while in Rfactor it only slows me downs, way down, at least from my experience in F1 mods ... but thanks I will look into it information wise
