Trying to make something similar but having a really tough time getting the vinyl cut. What brand vinyl did you use and did you need to offset in DS or just create and cut?

Would you recommend a different approach for velvet and stretch velvet?

Can you only cut fabric with the air 2 if its bounded? Alsy if you were transferring the cut to a shirt. After would you be able to remove the bounding to just have the fabric cut itself?

This message for potential and current consumers - On January 08, 2024 ad we spoke to Cricut Supervisor inform Cricut that consumers are upset the new December 2023 ad three Design Space software updates cause PC Windows OS 7 and older computers are not be able to cut with the Cricut machines. We indicate that while Cricut corporate decision to not 'support Windows 7 and later operating system' is their own decision, consumers were not given prior notice when purchasing the useless Cricut Explorer and other Cricut devices that there would not be a stand alone software to use the Cricut machines -consumers are entitled to a full refund of the product that does not work - Cricut shall compensate each Windows 7 and older PC users $1 million dollars USD. Cricut consumers are frustrated with the new Design Space softwares that cannot be installed in order PC OS 7 to use the Cricut machines. Prior to Nov. 2023 ad the Cricut Design Space allowed the consumer to use the Cricut machine without issue. The error in cutting with the second to the last update in Dec. 2023 ad cause damage to the cut products for those with Windows 7 and older is causing the machines to malfunction unable to cut at the right location. The most current Design Space update end of Dec. 2023 ad may not be installed at all on a Windows 7 and later OS, now we instruct Cricut furnish a stand alone software without updates for users of PC Windows 7 and older to continue to use their Cricut Machine without logging in to Design Space online forcing updates of the firmware or software which is not required. We intend to file a complaint with the government offices if this software issue is not resolve in a timely manner by Cricut. No other devices purchase by a consumer demands the user to purchase install a new OS in order to use a cutting machine or a printer for that matter. Not even Microsoft may force a consumer to install the latest OS. Bad corporate decision by Cricut, Inc December 2023 ad change the Design Space softwares render the Cricut machines unusable for older PC consumers is damaging to the consumers - in California that is unfair deceptive acts and practices without notice to the buyer that they may not use their Cricut machine in 2023 ad Design Space software. Without a stand alone software that goes with the Cricut machines given to PC OS 7 and older consumers to continue to use the Cricut machines they pay good money for is a liability Cricut Inc. and its shareholders incurs for their poor choices damaging decision. We hope that Cricut rectifies its error corporate decision before Cricut pay each PC OS 7 and older OS consumer $1 Million dollars USD plus the cost of the machine plus potentially other fees charges by government agencies.

I am brand new to the Cricut world, my husband presented me my early Christmas present with a Maker 3. I use lots of glitter foam in my crafting, does the glitter ever accumulate in the machine and cause problems? How do you clean out all the glitter? Can it be blown out safely with canned air like is used on computers? This is my first Cricut and I don't want to ruin it. Thank you for your instructive video and look forward to the answers to my questions.

Pretty fascinated by this, but wondering..,will the print-then-cut work if I stamp on cardstock instead of printing?

But what if I'm putting my design on a picture frame glass how would I measure that as my frame is a 13x16

I cut out a small heart from fabric on my joy today trial,run so not great fabric -and I’d previously done test run with pen to draw design to,color with pencils (not sublimation).

This was super simple and very useful. The only problem I have is when I got to "make it" all the text comes out in a line. Any ideas?

When I have used a font that is cursive like you have shown I just move the letters over with the arrow keys on my pc but when I didn't know I was supposed to weld them. I have been attaching them. I usually attach once a word is made. So It seemed to look fine when it is drawn on cardstock. Is this okay to do it this way? Why is it done with weld?

This was the font I used, and couldn't find a good tutorial that had a method for not messing up the beautiful letters. Thank you so much.
