The first week of Bible Recap - Wow. So much I’ve not seen before. It’s powerful and so rewarding. Thank you Lord for giving us the Word and thank you Ricky and the SW team for the inspiration and encouragement to start this plan. 🙏❤

I have gotten on my knees before, but never has anybody taught me as much as you have that every Monday you would say, bend your knee, and I’ve even got in the process laying prostrate, because someone said it’s OK to bend your knee and be prostrate and I have no shame in doing that. I have been on my knees in the public, and I didn’t even care because you have boldly started my practice. I’ve bending my knee.

We watched, we cried, we reflected, and we were inspired. Experiences like this don’t happen by chance - it’s clear they’re the result of intentional prayer, thoughtful planning, and a dedicated effort of a multitude of people all marching in unity towards a common mission. We live in Sacramento and attended Southwest for about 15 years while we visited our condo in Palm Springs that we sold a few years ago. After the service I seriously considered making the 7-hour drive just to be there on Sundays. Not going to happen but hey, it speaks volumes about how much we value and enjoy everything about this church. Thank you for your commitment to the mission, excellence, reminding us and inspiring us to start the year on the right path. See you online!
