Namaste, I am Jen from Pokhara. After living in Boston USA for almost twenty years, I moved back to Nepal in 2015. I've always loved traveling (solo) before moving to Nepal, and made some amazing trips to the Bahamas, Andorra, Barcelona, Southern France, Thailand, Cambodia, India and inside the US. But I only started making these vlogs after being bored from staying home for months during Covid lockdown; mainly in the hopes of showing the world my beautiful country. In my travel and personal vlogs, I share with you life and places in Nepal.

I love long drives;... um plus, I trust my own driving! :) Nepal is a beautiful small country with amazing landscape varying from sub-tropical in the south to cold and snowy up in the north. Whether you like vast jungles and safari rides or trekking in the Himalayas, there's something for everyone in Nepal. I feel blessed to call Nepal my home.

Last time I was in Nepal, I found out that a car like a Prado can cost upwards of $250,000. You must have done very well in Pokhara to afford a car like that!

Weatherwise yes! Its beautiful! The road to Marpha might be a bit challenging due to some landslides since it's monsoon now.

Since 1976 :-) Even the remote parts of Nepal has undergone a tremendous change - for most nepaliharu - to the better! The eagerness to come back to my beloved Nepal has increased!

I need your help in lodging as i am travelling to muktibath and will be requiring an overnight stay either in Marpha or Jomsom. Can you recommend some places?
Hi. There are some hotels in both Marpha and Jomsom. Marpha is a nicer village to stay a night. You can stay at Paradise Guest House inside Marpha village or Hirachan Homes just outside the village by the highway. Simple hotels with great food!

So nice to see. Went trekking this route in 1978... Stayed at the "japanese lodge" in Tatopani. We only made it to Lethe, but we used our feet, not a Toyota 4x4 🙂

@yourstrulyjen2286 Well, I think the only thing in common now and then is Dahl Bath and the smiling faces of the Nepaliharu. No bijuli, no bus, no coca-cola, but absolutely worth it ❤🇳🇵❤ Highlight of the day was tea and Nebico Glucose biscuits 🙂
