Last time i went 90s rode the big one! That laughing thing in 50s terrified me at 3 yr old my older brother would pin me to the glass. And say i was going in there on its knee forever. IT
This demonstrates how unprofessional she is. Bad attitude, arrogance and poor leadership. However, she appears very happy to show the world how much of a twat she is.
I have a lot of happy memories of this place, more from the 1980s though. I'm wondering if the Fun House got remodelled at some point? Because I don't remember the Joy Wheel being near any windows, and I don't remember the other spinning wheel thing, with the high sides at all. I also remember the vertical slide being wider and without any of those wall behind it. But it's been a long time since then so my memories could be clouded somwhat. Great video though, thanks for sharing. Oh yeah, it was also remember it being called the Cyclone back then, and I never rode on it, something I regret now as I love rollercoasters.
I was there the day this was filmed, see lots of friends. The fun house slide was very addictive, once I did it the first time. Very smooth ride with no neck whiplash.
Memories of growing up. Remember always going to the fun house and nearly always winning on the spinning wheel, remember mum was having a brew upstairs and Jimmy nail 'crocodile shoes' was playing
The only bad thing about UK theme parks is you are up against the weather. Plus seasonal work (park operation) and early closing times. 5.30pm was standard for most.
Haha that Kamikaze slide = good memories. Don't believe something like that could exist today... I must have been less than 8 years old but I remember going down on my front. Whole place felt like a death-trap but that was the magic of it.
I remember how uncomfortable this was no paddling, or belting in and lots of bruises, ohhh the memories xx The difference between the big one 😳well yes padding and a belting system but boy did it breakdown. Stay safe stay well
That Wonderful World ride freaked me out as a kid. My sister loved ghost trains & I didnt & we got on this ride & I was terrified. For me there was something sinister about it & I asked my sister if she liked it & she said no, that she wanted to get off. It was freaking her out too, so I knew I wasnt just being my usual wimp. Even when I think about it as an adult, anxiety comes over me. It was way too creepy...the darkness & all those creepy puppets 🥴
I'm guessing calling people 'kids' is your only insult? My guess is people don't respect you, you're insecure and very defensive which is why you're so triggered right now. Next time you pick a fight with someone on the Internet, make sure it's not with someone who can pick apart your weaknesses. 👍
Considering it was my 2nd game ever, I was quite proud of that 😁 So, let's talk about why you're so insecure and need validation in your life shall we? 😉
@@stephenduncan3605 Nope, I live in Lancaster and the first boundary stone that marks the Lake District north of us is definitely in Cumbria. Lancashire did once extend into the Lake District but that was many years ago.

Big up Amanda Thompson. Respect 🙏
I wouldn't use the word assertive.. unpleasant seems more fitting.

She is vile !

Still remembering, still watching, still loving it <3
safety first
Absolutely loved this place! I visited every year from 1983-1992. Best childhood memories ever
the park reopened in 2009 but is not as good as the old one
No internet and TH-cam in 1935. Must’ve been hard I’m those days.
Wow was this really 14 years ago now!!! Showing my age
I see people I know and think I was there that day. Only Human Roulette Wheel I had the chance to ride. A grand day out!

The exit bridge overlooks this point 👍
@@SpikePBB cool! I guess I'm always to much in a rush to get to the entrance again.

With its wooden frame, it's amazing that the cyclone lasted as long as it did...
Get a life kid

Wow bro you're so good at fortnite! So so good I mean really why haven't you gone pro
Sadly I only played Fortnite for a few weeks. It's more for kids and I didn't really enjoy it that much. 😁👍
Haha you tune me for my warzone clip but you have shit fortnite gameplay
looks like shit hahaha
The greatest show ride I remember as a child. Is it now the ghost train?
The ghost Train is around 90+ years old so no :) also totally different track and operstion
The Ghost Train is still very much in operation. A Burger King now sits where the greatest show ride was.
I got bosses worst than her
But the pleasure beach wouldn't be the same without it somehow lol
That laughing clown omg so creepy creeped me out as a kid still does 😳😱
Same
That laughing clown freaked me out as a kid still does its hauntingly creepy 🤪😱
Morecambe's in Lancashire, The Lake District's in Cumbria.
Believe it or not the region known as The Lake District officially starts at Lancaster and ends in Carlisle!
