X Citing Times For Fujifilm Users
In this short video I explain why I think the future is bright for Fujifilm X-Mount users. Judging by the latest Fujifilm Lens Roadmap (2021-2022) there seems to be some excellent optics on the horizon. I filmed this episode on my recently acquired Fujifilm X-S10 which has proved to be excellent so far.

Exploring Coots July 2019 4K
มุมมอง 754 ปีที่แล้ว
Upon a visit to a local beauty spot I noticed these playful coots with their parent. They were in amongst the lily pads, gleefully picking the petals off them and cruising the waters, exploring their new environment. I filmed this sequence on a Panasonic FZ82 bridge camera mounted on a tripod.
Spider weaving a web close-up

It was fascinating to see this spider weaving it's web in my garden. The way it spins the threads delicately and places them very precisely is amazing.
Hungry Swallows
มุมมอง 924 ปีที่แล้ว
For this short film I gained permission to video and photograph these barn swallows at a local garden centre. I had been observing their activities whilst visiting and shopping there. It is quite tricky to predict where these fast birds will land but I spotted the chicks all perched on the metal frame so I waited until the parents returned with food and got the footage.

Garden Flowers Macro Photography: Quick & Easy Guide
มุมมอง 1054 ปีที่แล้ว
There is a particular joy in viewing nature close-up. In this brief video I will show you how easy it is to photograph flowers in your garden (or park). All you need to get started is a camera, a macro lens, and optionally, a flashgun. I use flash on a lower power to add a bit of aparkle and fill in shadows. I find that hand-holding the camera gives more flexibility to get down to ground level,...
Winter Robin & Friends December 2019 4K

I have been out and about over the Autumn/Winter season filming and photographing the local wildlife in Staffordshire, England. I wanted to give you a flavour of what I recorded. There are lots of birds to be seen, especially when the weather is harsh. The smaller birds will come down for a tasty treat of peanuts, suet and seed. I always find the Robin a very endearing bird with it's iconic red...
Woodland Birds April 2019 4K
มุมมอง 1335 ปีที่แล้ว
I filmed these birds on a pleasant Spring walk around a Staffordshire woodland. By placing seed on the fence post I was able to capture the fast moving birds as they came down. I used a Nikon D7500 and a Tamron 18-400mm lens, placed on a tripod. I tend to use single point AF and focus on the birds/post to avoid the AF 'hunting'. The Picture Profile was set to Neutral & all footage was shot in 4...

Garden Birds In The Snow January 2018

When the Winter conditions get harsh more birds seem to come into my garden. I love watching them feed and interact. It amazes me how they survive such brutal conditions. I filmed this movie on a Panasonic Lumix FX300/330 (handheld-OIS ON). Cinelike V. Shot in 4K then uploaded as 1080p.

I'm not sure because it uses the special Sony hotshoe on top of the camera not a cable that you plug in so it's doubtful.

You seem to spend a bit of time expounding on what it doesn't have and cannot do. But you come around to the same conclusion that I do, that is that it just works. Yes, I have a Panasonic FZ80 and an FZ200, but the camera that I use 99 percent of the time is my HX400V. I hope it lasts forever. Yes I like the 4K and the touchscreen and the 60x zoom of the FZ80 and even RAW capability, and the full zoom 2.8 aperture of the FZ200 is a good feature. But Sony just makes good stuff, kinda like Toyota does. Maybe not the highest specs, but it just works.

    • @koolkutz7
      @koolkutz7 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Patricia. I probably would not use this camera for vlogging on a YT channel because the screen only tilts so you can't see yourself. And it only shoots Full HD video, not 4K. I have used a Panasonic FZ330 (FZ300 in some regions) and that is very good for video (you might need some lights indoors though) as it shoots 4K, has a fully articulating touchscreen, has a 25-600mm F2.8 zoom lens and you can plug in an external microphone for better quality audio (I use a Rode video mic pro). It's also weather-sealed (the Sony isn't). The Menus are much easier to use than sony's messy, confusing ones too! Hope that helps.

No, because there is not a mic port on this camera.

Very well explained. I just bought this camera, I'm seeing pixelated images. Can you help me in choosing the right option and settings for a photo, say candid indoor. Or do i need additional flash for sharp images?

If you are shooting on the full AUTO mode indoors then the camera might automatically try to raise the ISO so you will get 'grainy' (blotchy) looking images. Yes, try using the pop-up flash indoors or some decent LED lights etc. Hope that helps.
