Hello, Johan if I am in 10 hours sleeper birth and the guard asks to move the truck to a safe place I change duty status to of duty pc, moved truck to a safe place, after that do I need to change status to continue for 10 hours sleeper or remain in pc?

Have you had any interest in making a video regarding vehicle emissions delete or customization? I’ve been seeing a lot of this topic on trucking groups and forums and getting your thoughts and opinion would really help put some clarity on this common topic. We all know what the rule book says about noise imissions but a lot of drivers seem to have the impression that the DOT isn’t the EPA so DOT technically shouldn’t pay to much attention to emissions deletion ect.

This new company I'm with tells me I must do my long break first. They will not let you do your your 2 hr or 3 hr. First do they have the authority to control that. Like they can the personal convenience. I have been doing splits for a long time and after I was at the receiver for 3 hours I called safety to ask how you did it on this ELD. They said I must do my 7 or 8 first.

The company I'm at now is telling me they have split sleeper but I have to do the long part first the 8 or 7 in sleeper before I can do the short one. I do sleeper splits all the time and have never heard such a thing. Are the allowed to make there own limitations like they can for p.c

The idea that the government knows when you are tired and when you are fit to drive is so stupid it is simply unbelievable. I drove when I was rested and logged it legally and drove it safely, and if the two were not the same I didn't lose sleep over it. And I was blessed. And I am now retired.

More often than not, you'll be told to leave once your business there is concluded, so...PC to nearest safe haven. I know this question would be asked, even though you just went through the four PC allowances.

My understanding of hours of service is: in a 24 hour period, a driver can work a total of 14 hours (driving and on duty aside from driving) and must then have 10 hours or rest. Extending the work period beyond 14 hours to unload a truck is not considered on duty for furniture movers?

Awesome video as always! Do you have one regarding 65 foot length restrictions? More and more states are starting to enforce a 65 foot length restriction on truck(pickup)-trailer combinations. This despite that the truck when coupled with a trailer is technically not a cargo caring unit?

97 bucks a month is worth it but how many mega carriers drivers can handle that monthly? something to consider when they getting less than 500 a week or someone just getting into trucking and needs to get started- maybe a 25 dollar plan to get started and then upsell to higher packages? and i finally noticed you are aimed at owner operators-- how about us regular follks enslaved to a company and lease operators. im just getting back in teh game after 14 years away from the party

I have a question I have often wondered. If I am in a daycab and I get unloaded in rural Indiana and there are no hotels/motels between the receiver and my home base, could I PC home? There are some very small mom and pop truck stops along the way but I have been told that I legally can’t sleep in my truck. It may be a stretch but I would say my home is the closest reasonable place.
