MAG - Beginner Tutorial - How to create and save Groups in the Maschine software.
Wassup, I'm Dave and I made this video for beginners, or anyone who does not know how to create and save custom groups in the Maschine software.
I show you step-by-step how to load one shots and place them on the individual pads in order to create a custom group. I also demonstrate how to save the custom group and find it when you would like to use it again.
Creating custom groups is a nice way to build an arsenal of your own styled groups for use in the Maschine software. You do not need to use the hardware to follow the video as everything can be done with the mouse.
Hope this helps anyone unaware of this process!
If you like the video make sure to hit the like button and subscribe as well! I will be making more music production content as well as gaming and art videos, so make sure to link up!
I also stream on Twitch often...feel free to give me a follow over there as well..Link below!

Thanks 🙏 a million you’re dope! I’m just starting and having trouble with understanding what to do and how to do it. Thank you for explaining what groups function is now I can stop staring at it wondering what to do with it. I have an old maschine MK1 or NI eye. I’m trying to make this song and having issues with recording vocals from my mic to maschine. The mic is connect to my interface focusrite and maschine is connected on audio or something but I wondering if I’m doing everything right. Any way thanks agin and let me know what I’m doing wrong!
Thank you for your reply and for watching the video. As far as the recording on Maschine goes. I have succeeded by ensuring my Maschine audio settings let the Maschine run from your Focusrite as the audio source. I have always had my Focusrite set as the main in/out in the Maschine preferences/settings under audio. Then, set your recording channel to the Focusrite channel when you record your audio in the sampler window. I hope that makes sense; if not, I can make a video of how I get audio into the Mashcine. LMK. Thanks again for stopping by the channel.
Great short and clear you the best
