It's cool that you guys buy views and back date you're TH-cam
You're really great musicians, but you're back dating stuff, and that's dishonest. I don't know what you're doing, but I called the trademark. You can not use this name "5th Kind". I want to know that you guys are all really great musicians, though you're very impressive performing artists. I actually enjoy your act I cannot lie you guys are amazing musicians and performing artists. Just please don't use the name "5th Kind" it's part of my puzzle as an opera. I'm waiting on the FBI to say it's okay for me to trademark.
Don't steal dand names, I already checked trademarks you can't steal the band named 5th Kind, it's with the FBI dude you got to stand down and change the name of your band.
You're really good musicians want you stop ceiling band names. You guys back date your TH-cam with the producers.
You're a bunch of middle-aged fags doing cover songs. I'm suing you get the fuck off TH-cam and stop stealing my band name. I registered this name with iheartmedia and the FBI a decade ago.
That's cool. You don't have a record label. Don't drink so much semen and you can't bitch about drinking too much. I'm working with the FBI and iheartmedia, so please don't steal my band name ever again. I drink a lot of whiskey I don't bitching about it but I guess if you drink a lot of semen you want us to write a song about it.
What's your record label? I know you drink too much, so stop drinking so much semen. What's your record label? You stole my band name.
You guys are really good musicians, but I came up with this band name a long time ago, and I'm working on a federal indictment, so take your s*** down as 5th Kind, dude. You should have been up for 10 years. You guys lie on TH-cam.

I'm going to sue you, motherfukers. We've been doing this for over a decade. You're really nice musicians, but I've been working on a 5th Kind for years with iheartmedia and the FBI.
Who the f*** are you you f****** loser? Don't f****** play with me your cover band still in my band name from iheartmedia and the FBI
Nice, never heard this, Very impressed 👏....
The guy singing is my uncle
Great stuff!!
My boy 💗 he's in the 11 th grade now and is still in choir ❤ so proud of him ❤

... DONT
I met and learned to know several of these guys in 1983. Loved the corps. Hated seeing it fold
A true master.
Love you Mr Banks!!!
Ya gotta turn up the sax mic!
@Lancerlady can you convince her to make more content?
Beautiful... Praise His Holy Holy Name Forevermore 🙌🏼 🙏
😉
Just absolutely beautiful
Not many people know that the director, George Lindstrom, was also the corps director of the Kilties prior to this. He had some great Kilties stories!
Très très chouette...
I hated the original, and I am not sure why anyone would want to cover this, but these guys have done a good job of converting the synth-heavy original to a guitar, bass, and drum rock song.
I wish we had a full corp that year and a full season. Most people don't think we fielded a corps in 1983 because we didn't make it to DCI Championship. Best time of my life and the saddest when we folded.
I agree. Sad. I was with Southwind earlier that summer and they folded. So I traveled up to the little town where the corps hall was. Can't remember the name of that town.Anyway, I enjoyed MB3 while it lasted. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming when I arrived. I still remember being picked up at the airport in Memphis by the big guy who was a horn instructor I think. Also recall the last day when all the instruments were placed/organized on the gym floor, to be auctioned off I assumed. I was one of the last people to leave the corps hall to go home. I recently heard that Southwind has once again folded, possibly for good, due to the high expense of travel. As I recall reading, they needed $1,000,000 to field a corps in 2024 and couldn't see a financial path to the funding. Corps dues were something like $600 in 1982 when I was with Southwind for a full season. What has happened to the activity?
Mason Tn. was the name of the town.@@woodsman335
MB3 came back in Summer 2023 as "Memphis Blues Drum Corps" & their home staging hub is DeSoto Middle School in South Haven, Mississippi. Last year was more of a sampling & they didn't compete. But they did attend some of the DCI tour. This year (2024) will be actually competing & will cost $2000, which is honestly 1 of the lowest amounts required. I have 2 sons with the group.
“I can hit him.... *WITH MY FISTS* ” XD
Whose on drums? Cant see. Lol
Didn't know if it was pete in this video. Jeff adams is blocking my view. Lol
Awesome !!!....thank you.
Lance McDaniel tearing it up!!
aw don't cut it off...he was about to crank it!
Unforgettable, great night ! Thank you Amy Jamison and all the fantastic musicians and friends who made the pilgrimage to Lafayette's Memphis to honor Jimi's memory. We'll do it again for Jimi !
Brownsville Tn. show, Arkadelphia Ar. show, Inna Bena Ms. show, Jackson Ms. Worlds Fair Open show, Birmingham Al. DCS Championship.. I think that is the order of shows if I remember right!
I was a symbol. Wish we could've finished the summer. It was sad going home after one tour.
I was at the show at Henderson University in Arkadelphia Ark. I loved the MB. Hated to hear they folded shortly afterwards. I think Skyryders won that night, but MB was very close if I remember (that was a long time ago).
@@homestead_diy MB3 is back this year! I was more than honored to be able to march with them this year and endure the long history and past that the organization had in this activity.
I was 15 at the time and played soprano. I remember the mosquitos at Itta Bena were unlike anything I had ever seen.
I am in this vid that's Mrs Hornsby ahhh
Is that Dr. Austin leading the rehearsal? Does anyone know what ever happened to him?
No that is Cecil Austin. I don't know him so maybe some of the others can answer.
Thank you! I had the wrong name in my head. That is exactly who I thought it was.
Cecil? Drum intructor?
RIP and thank you Tom for the songs and memories.
Are you sure this was a street fight as opposed to a no holds barred match? It vaguely resembles a Marcus of Queensbury rules match.. The more I examine the footage it seems to be a no disqualifications match. I dare say it might even be an extreme rules match.. 🤔 Send me a message on Instagram. Thirty3bags 😉
I am sorry I am having a hard time conveying things. You know, the internet. You're right it wasn't a street fight. I am on Instagram too. Obviously Lancerlady. Anyway, I was saying that initially we were supposed to have a Street fight with Reigns and Strowman. It had been advertised. But Strowman wasn't even there. And Brock didn't do anything but call him a bitch, no fight. And we got nothing but talk from Cena and Reigns. Yes, we got the Battle Royal at the beginning which was awesome!!! And the Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins vs. Cesario and Sheamus individually. That was really cool and Rollins did a cool move to save Ambrose. My son likes your handle! ;)
Lancerlady I was messing with you..they all mean the same thing. There are a few lancerlady handles on Instagram, but there's only one Thirty3bags, so add me on there. Also, your son likes my handle, you'll like my spout.
To all associated with the Memphis Blues Corp, I am looking for any video footage with Mike Fortenberry playing. Mike and I attended NLU with Jeff Norman. We lost Mike a couple of years back and would love to have a few videos of him to go with recordings I have from college. Thanks. Allen Terry
I posted a link here to the brass practice as well. I marched with Mike in 82 and Jeff in 83. I saw MIke a few years ago. I was sad to hear of his passing. Here is the link to the brass practice. th-cam.com/video/Le337aal-Ds/w-d-xo.html
Dang this phone gets a good sound! lol...:)
I was there
Just watched t again before I head out to work this morning, epic! just plain epic!
Sorry my finger got in the way I was trying to get closer to the stage.
Didn't bother me re-living/enjoying the moment. Subscribe to flightbag89, he has some nice clips from the Memphis show as well as a bunch of other venues.
Thanks for sharing, was there as well. Good job on the video, some fine memories there. Most awesome show no doubt.
A dream come true for me!!
Thank you for sharing! Me and the wife were there, it was an absolute epic concert event. Again, thanks for sharing and helping the memories!
My husband and I were there we took our 10 year old son he LOVED it...it was a dream come true for me. I have always wanted to see him! I am so glad he put us on his tour stop!!
I marched the next summer, which is when MB3 foldded. I went back home but many of my friends went to other corps to finish out the summer.
Not bad for an Iphone 6 plus and up close!!
What a great night of music!
