IMO the original Charmed is pretty good throughout most of the run, the first season of the reboot is... fine? Second is a mixed bag and I dropped it in the 3rd. Iirc, this episode is in the second half of season 2 of the reboot. Supposedly reboot S4 is stronger than 2 or 3, but I'm not sure I can bother trying to watch it. I'd rather watch the original through season 7 lol. More and better content.

This is completely incorrect. The reason that they both have a Captain Marvel is because, when DC aquired Fawcett Comics (the original publisher of Captain Marvel), they let the trademark lapse. So, Marvel jumped on it and rushed out a new character so that they could lay claim to the name.

Mavel Comics version of Captain Marvel was great, sadly the Marvel Cinematic version was complete trash and only got it's record box office earnings by piggy backing off the great quality of the prior Marvel movies and then Disney decided to cling to their worst character to lose more than $200 million on this bad decision.
