Hey,
this is my second coaster. I know I am a bit late to the party, but I simply love Intamin's hydraulic launch coasters, so here is a version from me. So, the first shutout goes to TheCodeMaster for realising his hydraulic launch kit to make this possible. My coaster is obviously inspired by Kinda ka (Six Flags Great Adventure, USA) but it is a bit lower and slower than Kingda Ka to allow for a longer layout while keeping the price of the coaster somewhat reasonable and realistic (Ok, I admit its properly too expensive xD).
This time my main focus was on the control of the coaster. So, I scripted the coaster completely by myself and heavily modified the code of the hydraulic launch kit to make the coaster as realistic as possible. The launch sequence is coded to start when the catchcar is ready at starting position and the train ahead enters the final block-brake, but the launch-brakes are not released before the final block-brake is free again. The coaster features a random occurring rollback and a forced rollback (which can be activated via a control-panel by the player). After a rollback, the coaster automatically recovers itself. Also the emergency stop works in very situation (also affecting the catchcar of the launch) and the control is able to recover the coaster after the emergency stop is deactivated again. Furthermore, the coaster control will check the weather before every launch and will put the launch into a waiting state if the weather is too bad. You can see the state of the launch-section in the control panel (Shown at Block "BB Launch") and also the console will inform you all the time over the status of the coaster. Here you can also see the current and total capacity each time a train leaves the station (riders/hour). Additionally, the acceleration is not constant over the launch segment but roughly follows the acceleration profile from "Speed Monster" (TusenFryd, Norway) which I extracted from: A.-M. Pendrill, 2008 Phys. Educ. 43, 483: physics.gu.se/LISEBERG/eng/pe8_5_003.pdf. Finally, the coaster also features a working elevator at the top-hat which is fully controllable by the player via a panel inside the elevator.
