I am a PhD student in computer science. I've only had problems, I'm already tired of this shit. Nothing, absolutely nothing works for me. My main advisor is in another country because he left academia and now works in the industry, all meetings are by zoom. I've been there for two and a half years and I have nothing to publish, in one year I have like 100 nightmares. I work in an empty lab, it's always been that way since it started. I can't talk to my parents or siblings about this, they don't even know what a PhD is, my parents only have elementary education, they always had problems and got divorced, my close family doesn't understand what a PhD is either, for them, the Success is measured in the amount of land, houses and cars that a person accumulates. I have not made friends in graduate school because I worked in empty laboratories. All this has caused me to have terrible self-esteem, I have distanced myself from my family because I am in a bad mood and I don't want to be rude to them. I no longer enjoy anything, I don't care about everything, I no longer practice my hobbies because of the sadness of not getting results. I feel incompetent, I feel like human garbage. I am extremely discouraged, it seems that the PhD has awakened the worst version of me. Sometimes, I would like to quit and go to work at a physically demanding job, at least, at the end of my work day, I will surely have made a little progress: "today, as a waiter, I waited on 10 tables", "today, as a farm worker, I gathered corn from 4 grooves", "today, as a dishwasher, I washed 5 large containers of dirty dishes", "today, as a hand laborer, I carried 1000 bricks to the construction site", all this would be more satisfying than my doctorate, where I have months doing the same experiments and no progress at all. I no longer have feelings of joy or sadness, I no longer feel like I am a person, I am "something" that comes, sleeps and defecates, I have no desires or optimism in the future, I sleep poorly, sometimes I even feel dizzy and tingling in my body. head for sleeping so badly... if they kicked me out of the graduate program, I wouldn't care. My life is totally miserable.

Can you tell me what difficulty level the coding questions were during the test? How did you prepare for these tests? I'm currently studying Japanese and am N4 certified at the moment, and I'm working towards N3 certification. Will this additional certification make me a more preferred candidate? I'm also currently working in machine learning and am a final-year engineering student.

Many thanks to the author of the channel for the recommendations! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.

Hey, I'm from Germany too and currently graduating from high school. Does it make sense to look for an undergraduate program (Bachelor) in physics in Japan (doesn't have to be 東京 but a big city would be nice) ? I speak intermediate Japanese, but an English program would probably be the only choice for me since I don't think the extra language challenge is necessary in this case. I know Waseda and other universities have some undergraduate programs in English. I also feel like the application and admission process is quite elaborate for Japanese Universities and I don't feel like having to do SAT or 大学入学試験, because I already studied so hard for my Abitur in Germany. Option B would be entering a German university and pursuing an exchange program/study abroad program in my second year of physics for 1-2 semesters. But then I wouldn't really live in Japan that long. I know most people wait till their Master or PhD to move abroad, but I really can't wait to live in a different country and I'm currently soo interested in Japan.
