Mountain Leader - unplanned use of the rope (real situation)
A day out with my daughter where we ended up at a short wet rock step. Used the rope to safeguard the descent and made a video to demo the full context of the situation. Hope its of use.

With good snow conditions and lockdown restrictions limiting exercise from home we made the journey from Waunfawr over Moel Eilio and onto Snowdon and back. A 10.5 hour day, 30km of travelling and 2000m of ascent. A superb day out.
Two of my favourite (insectivorous) plants. Must know for Mountain Leaders
มุมมอง 9654 ปีที่แล้ว
Midges are hated by all mountain users, so these two amazing plants are among my favourite. The Butterwort and Sundew are both insectivorous plants and can be found in the summer months in boggy areas. Mountain Leaders will see these often and they make for great educational input to our clients who always take an interest in them. This was filmed by Bryn Williams who is an approved course Prov...

Avalanche Transceiver Interference with iPhone and GoPro.

A short video showing avalanche transceiver interference when an iPhone or GoPro are close by. In particular the devices affect the rescuers transceiver rather than the victims. Loads of published research online covering this topic in much greater detail than this video!
North Wales Adventure Day.
มุมมอง 3.6K11 ปีที่แล้ว
On March 30th I was stuck with what to do with a day off - the weather forecast was amazing, and the conditions for pretty much all adventure sports was perfect, so I tried to do as many as possible, which included surfing at Hell's Mouth, rock climbing in Tremadog, mountain biking in Beddgelert, ice climbing in the Llanberis Pass (near Snowdon) and skiing on Y Garn in the Glyderau. I hope this...

I've driven through Wales and seen sheep jump a wall and fallen 100 ft. Not the brightest light bulbs
That looked like one baaaaaaaaaaaad fall. 🐑
The first sheep that had fallen was Sheep Naha White R.I.P *Wait isn’t that the sheep?*
thats evolution live .... only those who dont win a darwin award will make offspring....
The you tube algorithm somehow knew I’d be interested in sheep sliding down a hill?!? Genius!

Meesa going hommmmme!
this video has lost nothing of its tension and excitement in 17 years. A truly classic thriller!
Yep, I've been waiting my entire life to watch a video of sheep falling.
You should never drink the water out of sreams or rivers that are below the altitude that sheep go up to, wherever sheep can go there's a possibility of sheep dying in a stream or river therefore contaminating the water, above the level sheep go up to, the water is fine to drink, tarns at the top of mountains is the best water
Sheep, I’ll be b a a a a a a a a a ck.
Why am I having a barrage of 16+ years old videos being recommended to me?
I hope they didn’t die for mutton

Free meat.
I am watching this 17 years later . TH-cam algorithm is amazing ..
Probably jumped because of the cameraman trying to make a name for himself with a loud commentary.
What do you expect when you film then turn the camera on the side. Of course the sheep are going to slip away.
Sheeps follow each other like humans follow each other for looking something special.
Put the bbq on.
Wtf this Video Upload was 17 Years ago.
Silence of the lambs.
Was it a petzl rope?
