Sage ESN 10ft 2 wt with the ESN reel and 4lb microleader. This was after the fish had been beat up for quite a few days. When I fished it 4 days prior, I was catching them or at least hooking one almost every cast. In the video I ended up hooking the same 18 inch brook trout I caught 4 days ago. It took off and ended up breaking me off on a downed tree. I was using 6.5x tippet.

Euro nymphing for wild trout after work. Using a Diamondback Ideal Nymph 10 ft 2 wt with a squirmy and Walts worm I tied. This rod is great for these wild fish, but the DB 1wt or my Syndicate P2 10ft 2 wt is better suited for these smaller, wild fish.
