Rancho Equestrian Neighborhood, Burbank, California, USA Driving Tour
In this video, I take you on a driving tour of one of the most popular neighborhoods in Burbank, California - the Rancho Equestrian District (or the Rancho for short).
I love driving through this beautiful tree-lined neighborhood full of charming homes and a few stables. Yes, I said stables. This is one of the rare residential areas where you can keep horses at your home. It's very common to see people horseback riding on the streets. Pay attention to the street crossing buttons as some have been adjusted for those on horseback to press.
We also pass by the world famous Los Angeles Equestrian Center, Base Camp (an amazing cafe with homemade pastries)... and a horse or two.
Thinking about moving to Burbank? Reach out anytime. I'm more than happy to help!

    I used to live in the apartments across from Pickwick Bowl on Elm St. Sad to hear that after 60 years, Pickwick is closed and going to be demolished so Condos can be put in. This has disaster written all over it. That neighborhood is quiet with minimal traffic perfect for horses. With a large influx of people and traffic it won't be long before they start complaining about the horse manure in the street or the dust or flies or...take your pick. That neighborhood was just too nice to last, such a shame.

    • @LivinginBurbank
      @LivinginBurbank ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Troy. Thank you for your comment and it sounds like I might need to clarify for you differences between Burbank and the surrounding areas. Burbank (population 105K in 2021) is located next to the city of Los Angeles, which is massive (over 3.8 million in 2021) and all those services you mentioned are shared/spread out amongst that city's residents. Also some unincorporated areas, which are also nearby within LA County do not have services dedicated specifically to their area/city. Having these services dedicated to just the residents of Burbank versus some of the other sets up nearby may be appealing to some people.

    Is Burbank student friendly? I am a college student planning to move there, and is it very far from the main downtown LA?

    • @LivinginBurbank
      @LivinginBurbank 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Burbank is student friendly in that it has lots of public transportation and you can travel to DTLA by bus or metro train. It can be a bit of a commute though, so you would need to investigate that further. It will depend on the time of day you are traveling. By car, it can be as quick as 20 minutes, but an hour & half in traffic. There can be traffic at all times of the day here in the Burbank/LA. My recommendation would be to get a place close by school as long as you feel comfortable with the location. Check with the college housing department for more info.

      @@khosla15 You'll be fine then. It's really easy to get around from Burbank. There's even a metro train that'll get you to Santa Monica (and the beach). Having a car is ideal in LA/Burbank, but even if you don't Burbank is a great homebase. Enjoy your time here!
