A few years ago a guy showed me this. Since then, it’s my go-to. I can count the number of trips on one hand where the wacky rig has let me down. I use circle hooks for a better hookup rate. Unbeatable. Wacky rig, jerk bait, Kastmaster spoons. If that’s all you had, you would catch almost every time.

@@ct79 only time I have luck there. It’s like really early spring or very late fall.
@@bassinmike8478it's a good spot to practice working different baits. Anytime I try out new tackle I'll go out there. The crystal clear water makes it easy to see how your rod movement affects the bait.

What color/size crankbait would you recommend for the Rock River? The areas I fish on it are 3-5 ft deep. Love the videos.
