Minced meat: 500 grams (chicken, beef, or mutton
Bell peppers (Shimla Mirch): 3 (finely chopped
Onions: 2 (finely chopped
Tomatoes: 2 (finely chopped
Green chilies: 3-4 (finely chopped
Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tablespoon
Yogurt: 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
Garam masala: 1/2 teaspoon
Salt: To taste
Oil: 1/2 cup
Fresh coriander: For garnishing
Heat the oil add all spices
Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
Cook the minced meat:
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add the minced meat and cook until all the water evaporates and the meat is well browned.
Add spices and tomatoes:
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, and chopped tomatoes. Mix well and let it cook until the Add the bell peppers:
Add the chopped bell peppers and green chilies. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the bell peppers are soft but still retain a slight crunch.
Finish with garam masala and garnish:
Sprinkle garam masala and fresh coriander
on top. Mix well.
Serve
Serve hot with naan, roti, or steamed rice.
