Acts 27:1-9 Road/boat to Rome
Acts 27:1-9 ESV
[1] And when it was decided that we should sail for Italy, they delivered Paul and some other prisoners to a centurion of the Augustan Cohort named Julius. [2] And embarking in a ship of Adramyttium, which was about to sail to the ports along the coast of Asia, we put to sea, accompanied by Aristarchus, a Macedonian from Thessalonica. [3] The next day we put in at Sidon. And Julius treated Paul kindly and gave him leave to go to his friends and be cared for. [4] And putting out to sea from there we sailed under the lee of Cyprus, because the winds were against us. [5] And when we had sailed across the open sea along the coast of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra in Lycia. [6] There the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing for Italy and put us on board. [7] We sailed slowly for a number of days and arrived with difficulty off Cnidus, and as the wind did not allow us to go farther, we sailed under the lee of Crete off Salmone. [8] Coasting along it with difficulty, we came to a place called Fair Havens, near which was the city of Lasea. [9] Since much time had passed, and the voyage was now dangerous because even the Fast was already over, Paul advised them,
Acts 27:1-9 NCV
[1] It was decided that we would sail for Italy. An officer named Julius, who served in the emperor’s army, guarded Paul and some other prisoners. [2] We got on a ship that was from the city of Adramyttium and was about to sail to different ports in Asia. Aristarchus, a man from the city of Thessalonica in Macedonia, went with us. [3] The next day we came to Sidon. Julius was very good to Paul and gave him freedom to go visit his friends, who took care of his needs. [4] We left Sidon and sailed close to the island of Cyprus, because the wind was blowing against us. [5] We went across the sea by Cilicia and Pamphylia and landed at the city of Myra, in Lycia. [6] There the officer found a ship from Alexandria that was going to Italy, so he put us on it. [7] We sailed slowly for many days. We had a hard time reaching Cnidus because the wind was blowing against us, and we could not go any farther. So we sailed by the south side of the island of Crete near Salmone. [8] Sailing past it was hard. Then we came to a place called Fair Havens, near the city of Lasea. [9] We had lost much time, and it was now dangerous to sail, because it was already after the Day of Cleansing. So Paul warned them,
Our faith journeys will have easy times and good times. Push through the hard times to keep moving forward.

As a New Testament Christian, no. New Testament Christians take the first day of the week (Sunday) and use that as our day of worship. Acts 20:7 and 1st Corinthians 16:2 are two verses used for this.

It correlates directly to philippians 3 ..... Every individual should ask themselves Do I more resemble being an American citizen? Or am I more godly?? What about the church I attend?Am I religious or does the spirit of the living?God truly dwell within the people there..... What is the fruit of the body you're connected to? Where are the persecutions? Or are you just accepted in the Community? When you look over the history of your life, what have you lost for the name of Christ?Because you speak and live with actions with your tongue., edifying the Lord God with your outward life? Or do you just get along with everyone and you make no ripples.... One must really investigate who they tie themselves to and make sure they do not consume the yeast of the pharisees... As you grow in Christ, ask the Holy Spirit, even covet from the Holy Spirit, his gifts( that the Lord would use you to set the captives free)... That you may be able to recognize the religious ways in america(people] versus true kingdom living.... There are only 2 kingdoms, and every person is a child Or an Ambassador ,,, darkness or the Light. John3;15-21 Do you live your life to expose the darkness.... Or do you live your life in the shadows of the darkness....
