My late grandpa was a harvesting contractor in the Swartland area of the Western Cape Province of South Africa 🇿🇦. I have seen some of these in action, and a few of his old threshers and Lanz Bulldog tractors are on display at Kleinplasie Agricultural Museum in Worcester. I have helped to harvest sorghum in 1968 and 1971, when we were using Best pocket knives to harvest that grain. My late father and his elder brother used to cut wheat with scythes, in temperatures north of 104F. 😊

My Boss up in Saska replace the P T JD with an SP JD ... 103/4 near the end of the Season ... well still had a bit Barley and Oats to do mmm i did not like it one bit with no Cab it was itchy Central ... lol not good idea for creature comfort lol ... 😮😮😮😮😮

Really appreciate the show. I have a 47 Case VA that I have been seriously considering this for it. I have an 8', 3 point blade along with the old loader. ( The hydraulic rams are scrap metal ) to work with. Now I'm convinced.

The Lanz Bulldog was a German tractor, not a Soviet made machine. If any were used in the USSR, they were units taken there after WW2.

Why are the names on the implements and tractors in reverse or read backward??

The name 'Rumely' is quite amusing to Finnish speakers because the word 'ruma' in Finnish means 'ugly.' Given that these old tractors have a very utilitarian and somewhat bulky design, the name 'Rumely' unintentionally sounds fitting, as if it's describing their less-than-aesthetic appearance. It's just a coincidence, but it makes for a funny and appropriate play on words for Finnish speakers.

Not only a mistake about Ursus, the imitation tractor of the Lanz Bulldog but also about the Munktell BM20. This one is also a hotbulp engine!!

The John Deere 6250R tractor is definitely a standout in this video, especially with its intelligent power management system.
