Thank you again for watching. Yes there is a lot of walking. I have bad knees and am overweight and out of shape, but I managed the walking. I used a cane, which helped. Traveling on the bus was very comfortable and enjoyable, the seats were very comfortable and roomy. Even though the bus rides were long they broke it up with many stops for meals and snacks. They have strict rules for safety and the driver is required to stop and rest frequently. I hope I answered your questions!

@@laurieperrone7043 I hope to have a review video out soon. I’m working on a video that would explain our experiences and lessons learned on a tour like this. Giving viewers the information I was looking for when I was planning our first trip to Italy. Look for this new video when it comes out on TH-cam, I think it will be exactly what you are looking for!

Thanks for watching! No we did not book our flight, that was all booked through Globus which is given a better rate for airfare. We still had control over our seating and flight schedule. You don’t need to book the airline through Globus we just did. Some of the people that were on our tour actually booked an extra day in Rome before the tour. This was a great idea and I would suggest it since it gives you a day of rest on arrival and a free day to explore Rome on your own before you join the tour.

Hi and thank you for watching, I hope you enjoyed viewing it! There was a representative at the airport to great us and transport everyone to our hotel. My wife and I were traveling alone to Italy where we met up with our group which became 40 of our friends over the 11 days in Italy. I am in the process of editing a review of our trip that I will post on TH-cam soon! Hopefully it will answer a lot of questions about our experiences!

Yes, our tour included the colosseum. This Globus Tour, The Best Of Italy, was in September/ October of 2023. I am not certain what there future offerings include. Thanks for viewing!

I just went to the Globus website and The Best of Italy still includes the colosseum in Rome on the second day.
