@@OtterseaV2 it came preloaded with it. Both phones came with the 2 different operating systems, and they were no longer being supported, so couldn't be upgraded.

@@ser777XD sorry, I don't know which version of Android it had, though I'm not sure if the difference between 7.0 and 7.1 will make any difference now to the usability of WhatsApp. The Bluetooth connection to earphones and speakers with similar versions of Bluetooth worked fine.

@@markymarkgroovemaster Thanks, the Samsung is tempting but I think I will go with the Lg because is also cheaper for me and it has everything I need, the cheap paint in the Directional buttons is the thing I do not like from the keyboard but the rubber buttons are fine for me so it is mostly fine. Thanks for the info on the folder 2, hope they launch a new flip phone with more modern specs in the future! it would be really nice.

@@muraribsc16 If you can cope with the smaller screen, get the Titan Pocket. My fingers are a little oversized yet I could type ok on that phone. The screen is ok for emailing and messaging, but not so good for next surfing and watching videos. The Titan screen is fine for those tasks.

The Titan Pocket might help kick Doom Scrolling into touch, because the size of the screen makes it quickly become tiresome. The Nokia 2720 Flip would probably help further with this (see my review here: th-cam.com/video/MVsEolc-LQA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=upudIGi-KWjD7XE2 ). The Titan has a large enough screen (albeit the square shape, which isn't as good for scrolling apps) to be very readable/usable. In conclusion - The Titan probably won't solve your problem. It's a great phone though. I still use mine everyday.

Nice for trip to nostalgia, but would it not drive you crazy, trying to use it on a daily basis? I have an Xperia Active, which I dig out of the drawer from time to time, but as for regular usage - nah, it's sluggish, drop calls regularly, and is horrible to write messages on.

I doubt you can update it now. Someone with technical knowledge might be able to do it, but Samsung will no longer be supporting older operating systems, and therefore will not be updating their old phones/old operating systems.

I hear ya. Live was better before smart phones - people had more time for each other, were more kind and polite, played nice.

Would they allow this phone on a military base, then? It is similar to a smart phone in that it.has 4g connectivity to the internet, plus access to things like emails, WhatsApp, Facebook.

@@markymarkgroovemaster It's not the internet what they fear, it's cameras and being able to take high-quality photos or even videos; more over, for a feature phone like this, they tell us to burn the camera(s) before we get it in with us. And man! I know what you're thinking now. you're thinking why not allow smart phones with their cameras burned or taken out from the devices themselves like they allow feature phones?! It's just how things go on my military base, and by the way, if we were ever ratted on that we have a smart or feature phone with its cameras still working, we're sent to jail (7 to 30 or even 90 days [in some other military bases]) straight away.

@@AhmedAllam-22 fair enough. I think this rule should apply in all work places! Managing staff is a complete nightmare these days.

Yes you can, although yo need to bear in mind its age and there the standard of Bluetooth its running. Some newer/more up to date Bluetooth earphones/headsets/speakers may not connect.

I still have the big Titan, which is my back up phone and gets used everyday for various tasks, not least of all, playing music through my PA. It's a bug bare that most new phones these days don't have headphone jacks. I still enjoy using the PKB, I don't think its novelty factor will ever wear off, but some of that joy comes from regularly switching between that and the Z Fold's two screen keyboards. I would advise going for the Titan over the Pocket if you have fat thumbs. I could use the Pocket, but my typing was notably slower than on its larger rival, which is indeed a great pleasure to use.

TBH that's the 1st time I've heard this. Mine was a year old when I got it, and I had it for 6 months without this happening.
