เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 13 ธ.ค. 2012
These videos show you how to apply for the MRCP(UK) Diploma examinations and Specialty Certificate Examinations through the online application systems My MRCP(UK).
There are also practical examples of MRCP(UK) PACES to help show candidates taking PACES and PACES examiners how the exam will run. These videos are staged examples designed to provide guidance on how the PACES examination is organised. They do not represent 'real-life' cases, and the candidates, patients and examiners portrayed do not necessarily represent the academic or clinical content of the examination.

Blue shirt man is difficult to understand due to accent, other man volume is low.....
Pathetic examination approach. Just the opposite of what they expect the examinees to do in exam.
I appreciate that this is a wonderful simulation, but in general this level of patient pampering isn't good for this society I believe. If I speak the same way to an immigration officer or in a bank or to a police, they'd just throw me away. Patients have got to be professional to professionals. At the end of the day, we are speaking in their best interests, its up to them whether or not to take them.
Hey the patient was very rude. I was getting my blood boiled. Its like i have to plead the patient to take treatment.
I newly cleared up all my MRCP exams , finishing with PACES which I think is the real deal to test your clinical knowledge . What I learned from my MRCP journey is : Its boost your medical knowledge and put you in higher lever than your peers , it makes you a humble doctor , fully responsible for both your patients and your colleagues , but you may say its not 100% pros , yes it may be both time and money consuming and puts a lot of pressure on ur life in general , but believe me it worth it . I'm proud to be a member of the RCP 🙂
La medica le mira la tripa
Do physicians really have to pamper patients into taking their medicines? Can the physician just lay out the reasons why he thinks it's more benefit than harm, and then it's up to Mr. grumpy to decide whether he 'll heed what contemporary science says or not. After all, he's not taking his medications to lower the physician's blood pressure!
5/10 poor eye contact
cant hear the examiner
I am sorry but I would have failed the examiner here. All he is doing is ‘talking’
sound of doctor is very poor
The patient looks like the bed doesn’t accommodate him properly (((he needs a wider one
Facing a patient who is angry is a challenge for any doctor. Thankfully, it's uncommon in real practice.
Where do you live sir?
Poor history
Eye contact is poor.. he isnt highlighting lifestyle changes
Why are the examiners grumpy?
The actor was paid before the act, and paid well
In real exam ,surrogate and patient gave contradictory statement . In that case what to do ? . As who differtials and scheme changes , viva changes . It actually happened
The old PACES examination was harder to prepare for and pass as it was so different to what we do in real life. This new format seems to be more realistic and so day to day clinical encounters in the work place is relevant for this exam and every encounter is an opportunity to practice. So unfair! They took this long to figure out their exam format was outdated? When will they incorporate testing the skill for medical registrar on the acute take?- completely different and more important skill set. Pathetic. No wonder NHS is dysfunctional.
These kinda patients are a nightmare.
Use headphones if you're struggling with the sound 👍 same comment as with the other example of this scenario - it would be useful to have mrcp comment on how this "candidate" was scored. Neither example seems great in terms of handling patient concerns & coming up with a plan together. Zero mention of lifestyle management options?
It makes more sense if you watch the prior video where they discuss the case (hyponatremic with normal neuro examination) & what should be examined & why!
It would be really helpful to have some sort of mrcp opinion on how the candidate did in the case.
Nice informative video but the background music of Southeast Asia is very loud. I had to concentrate too much on the professor while he was talking.
Pt had memory problem and she did not cover whole topic she just jumped from system to system without any orientation why she is asking the Qs
Exactly
They are extremely lenient. This isn’t the case in many international centers sadly
This 2 scenarios in one ; counseling about medication compliance and dealing with angry patient
This makes me feel better they were very flexible and fair - I hope examiners are like this for real
This makes me feel better ❤️🩹
The patient is the Boss. Looks like he comimg directly after watching a Bollywood villain movie.
Gabbar?
Wow! ❤
A very wonderful lead of the conversation A brilliant actor But the voice of the doctor is not clear
Terrible sound, I couldn't hear the examiner
Paces means perfection of routine .. people passing are good to treat sick with holistic care ..
They dont calibrate any shit, they go with the prepped sheet with answers. Then they act like fkin genius people with the candidate. Dam scmmers
If they did the video by any phone camera, it will be too much clear voice than this
MRCP UK is far more futuristic and evolving compared to other specialities (ie: MRCGP) those who stuck in past and out dated.
