Super rare 1970 factory HO 455 RamAir Pontiac GTO 4-speed, burgundy. 1 of only 1761 made. Laughably factory rated 360 hp. 455 CID creates 500 lb ft torque - spins the tires almost effortlessly. Friggin Judge 400 on steroids… This is what she sounds like. Hope you enjoy! No replacement for displacement 😜🤙
Pontiac GTO! The Judge! Glenn

Hello again Nate. Back again for my favorite Goat fix. 👍
Very nice of you. Updating the suspension and I post a driving video soon!
@@joyntsjoint Can't wait. Enjoy your summer.
Sounds like that beast is drinking gas by the cup full.
The only Pontiac 455 HO with high-compression D port heads.

Ain't no stinking LS either!
Very clean 👍
we have the same ride lol
That's the first yellow one I ever seen sounds good
Massive cam in that bad boy.
Fantastic find. Now, how bout a "ride-a-long video? :) I know of a video with a red 70 stick-shift car, (M-22), that gives us a ride. Super cool.
Perfect rendition of Pontiac muscle. Love the fact it's a 70, W/ a 455, RA, (and exhaust), stick shift, hopefully 3.55 12 bolt posi, and the color combo looks superb. But if it were mine, I'ld dump the baloney slicer, and stripes. (But that's just me). Power disc would be nice too. Still, I wish it were mine. Congrats on ownership.
Thanks, Joe. Honestly, I go back and forth with the ironing board on the the trunk, haha. Maybe we should take a vote! And yes, original M21 with 3.55 and a 12 bolt! The intention was so obvious with these.
@@joyntsjoint I have this car on my favorites list, and just found it again. The color, the drivetrain, (especially the 455, which I would prefer, even over a RAIV). The eyebrow stickers, and slicer, still would be gone in 20 seconds of my ownership. Hope you're still enjoying the car, Nate.
@@joequillun7790 Great to hear from you again Joe, and thank you! Very much still enjoying the goat. I’m updating the wiring as we speak. I’ll share a new video soon. If you’re ever in northern Colorado, let me know
@@joyntsjoint Thanks for the invite Nate, but I'm in New England, and don't ever get out that way. I'm glad to hear the Goat has an owner than can appreciate how spectacular his car is. Can't wait for the new video. Maybe a ride-a-long? :) Enjoy the summer.
Is it an early 70 455 HO with D port heads or the later 1970 with the RA IV type round port heads of course the round port heads made better top end power, but the D port heads are much rarer and some collectors like them over the round port version
It is the early HO 455 with the D port heads. These heads are the 64 casting codes, large valves. Factory ram air with ram air exhaust. Not sure why they switched things up between these and the round port ram airs (aka Judges), all I know is with some attention to detail, porting cylinder heads, etc, this baby straight out performs and based on my own extensive research, I’m not sure there are many out there like this one. Did see a 70 burgundy convertible 455 HO auction for 6 figures recently. Pretty crazy. Then again, it was a convertible. Just facinating to see the kind of scratch people are peeling out for these today…
@@joyntsjoint My great uncle was a Pontiac engineer he worked in cylinder head development he said the round port heads were not ready for the 455 at the release of the 70-model. he has been gone for several years and I can't remember what he said the problem was seems like it was a problem with combination chambers cracking unfortunately I can't ask him the.1970 1/2 -1972 455 HOs had round ports that makes your HO a rare 6 mouth only option! My great uncle worked on all of the 1960s and 70s HP engines from early 389,421 SDs all the way to the 73,74 455 SDs including the RA V and aluminum 427 HEMI he actually lived in Pontiac Michigan
@@insulman100 Oh wow, thank you so much for sharing this information! Obviously we don’t get to hear from too many people these days that were this close to the source. Definitely appreciate the insight.
@@joyntsjoint Don't know if you're interested but my Great uncle and Jim Wangers were good friends
@@joyntsjoint most people even Pontiac fans don't know about the D port 455 HO
Beautiful car. I have your cousin a 70 442 w30
Man, I love those cars too. 😎
Just for performance sake..really looks lol I'd go with some retro rallies 17s
Amazing colors and 455 ram air! Thank you for sharing!
music to my ears
Great looking GTO 😃. My,favorite year !!
There's the end of an amazing era. I was 22 in '70. So glad to have been around for the muscle cars. Every car lot was loaded with them.
Glad to see , that it's Burgundy Poly w/tan interior . When I watched your unloading it video , it was difficult to tell . I've got a 70 Le Mans same color , mine has a blk vinyl top , gto hood w/tach and judge spoilers (f+r) . I've also , got the stripe kit too . Mine has been parked , but this is going to be my motivational video . thanks for the inspiration , or lighting my flame !
Still have my 1970 GTO! Nathan yours sounds GREAT!
Thank you sir, definitely love it! 🤙
very very nice car! Only the tailtips are aweful
Back in the day I had a 68 GTO. It was an awesome car I only kept it for a few months because I wanted a 70 Camaro more. Both cars are now worth a fortune and I don't own either one of them. LOL
Man wouldn't we love to know then what we know today ! 😥
Live and learn millions of us
I had a 72 LaMans GT Sport. Love this car! 📕
