COSONI by Alexej Gerassimez
มุมมอง 9K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This was great fun and a real challenge writing a piece just for the body. The sound pool is quite limited and the way of performing slightly different then playing drums the usual way. This is the very first performance. I changed some small things before publishing. The score is now available here: www.editionsvitzer.com/catalog/zy0rp8j99r/c-23/p-1555 follow me on Instagram/facebook: instagra...

とても良いですよ
Very well tuned drums, do you prefer single headed Drums for better Definition of the Pitch ?
yes, in this case
A really fantastic piece! I'm going to be playing it with my classmate in a few months, looking forward to it! By the way, what mallets are you using in this video?
old vic firth gary burton mallets. I don’t use for live concerts, but for recordings.
@@youtubealexejgerassimez thank you!!
Воооууу
Impressive!
weirdos
本当にかっこいいです
Cool! Can i ask, how you achieve that loud sound? Have you used microphone?
yes, the ones you can see in the picture and one hanging from above.
@@youtubealexejgerassimez,is it all? Don't you used talc powder?
Amazing
✨✨✨

How would metal drummers like Danny Carey or Mario Duplantier interpret this piece ?
Don't be offended please, but i hear a lot of from Gary Burton and and I love it!!!
Yeah! Mein Favorit ist die Triangel an Draht, super Sound.

This entire piece is so insanely cool, you can clearly tell that both players are complete masters in their instruments. Just to name a few outstanding places: at 2:17, The introduction of vibe is completely seemless and amazing. Also the entire vibe part that follows it is fantastic, especially the dampening at 2:37 and 3:03; so smooth and fragile but beautiful. 3:13 ahhh this sounds awesome. 3:41 Masterful energy building 4:12 is the BEST PART IT'S SO COOL vibe going up is awesome. Whole next section is awesome, it's like frantic but musical. 4:45 The piano coming in is so cool sounding, and the whole build of the next section is amazing Beautiful piece with perfect playing
The best part is that it looks like he’s having fun, he brings so much energy to this amazing piece
flawless as usual!!
flawless execution, as always!!
great
Hola, hay partituras disponibles para interpretar esta obra? Gracias
Great! But I’ve got to ask you, what does cosoni means?
I love how the recording makes it look like two guys are just hanging out to jam. Great composition and performance. A keeper for me on TH-cam and a video to share with others.
GOOD JOB!
Seasick camera man... good playing...

Lovely piece, full of groove, cool melodies, harmonies and runs! I am playing this now, for my semestral exams and hopefully for a concert too? Btw, does anyone know how to pronounce Alexej's name? :D I know he is German but yet his name sounds exotic with some eastern europe influence. So do you pronounce the full name „the German way“ or differently?
Thanks for asking :) It has actually ukrainian roots from my grandfather. We pronounce the name in a “German way” with a soft “z”, more like a “s”.
@@youtubealexejgerassimez Oh wow, cool! Thank you :)
I can hear "One Study One Summary" in there 😂😍

Amazing composition and performance! It started automatically on YT (I only heard the sound) and I thought... Gary Burton with Chick Corea are playing... :) The greatest compliments and respect to both of you! Wonderfully!
