okay that kind of charger will not charge the battery if its to low or if it has a short on it. you will have to charge the battery a little bit with a small charger at least to 10 volts. this happens even with a cat charger. it dose not work because its set to see the resistance of a certain point. just always keep a small charger with u. these are still good chargers.

Where's the AGM selection? From what I see it's more expensive than a CTEK or a Noco and doesn't do half the job.

How do you know when you got all the air out? Is it clearly bubbly and airy at first then the stream gets stronger and more solid? I couldn't really see it going into the vacuum hose. (Great idea with the shop Vac btw)

4:02 What is the open rectangular cut-out at the bottom which is open to the circuit board? I just opened mine, was inspecting it when I noticed that open hole. Concerned because I see a circuit board and am worried about dust and insects being able to enter. I am weeks away before having mine installed, so was curious why this section does not have a cover on it. Thanks.

Put 12V 200A on and off a few times then try to charge it that might work for you with the dead (wrong) battery

I just found out how to give the battery a boost… I literally just did the 12v 200A start setting and it juiced the battery enough to get a charger going

Good explanation, I think I have the same problem. My car is also overheating (it stays stable over for 10C) ... I do change coolant regularly (2 years, quality one)... do flushes and other maintenance (water pump etc.) ... but the radiator is old (22years, still the original one), so I guess you cannot prevent this....

I am 04 owner stumped. Never had flow issues until 2 weeks ago water pump started leaking obd2 showed temperature getting to 201 then would get back down to 184 to 190. Once air got in the line from the leaking water pump had the over heat. Thats when I actually knew if the leak saw the slow drip from the weep hole. Just replaced it. No drip filled and bled. Did first warm up temp acted funny stay 135 for like 8 minutes and no heat inside. Then it jumped to 212 and stayed flat for another 3 minutes I shut it off not going to test drive yet. Checked hoses super hard and now I'm thinking there's a restriction maybe that caused the pump failure? I drained almost 3 gallons of fluid. Now I wish I disconnect the bottom radiator hose instead of doing just the bottom bolt on the pump to have less mess. Maybe like u mentioned about the sensor having corrosion or a clog which is weird I used straight distilled water in the summer and water wetter with no issues. And just changed over to factory coolant for winter. I also had the water vacated by machine before installing coolant. So I guess there a possibility of a clog I just hope not and if so hope its not the heater core. I prefer radiatpr.

I like to change mine .. 1989 , gmc sierra, k2500 . Old one one the truck , wire was disconnected and sensor was cracked. The tip looks ceramic!. Received a new one . Does the oil have to be drain ?

When u mentioned oil things my rpms drop to 680 and the oil light is lit once roms are above 750 no light activated. Just don't want to replace the oil pump gears or head gasket as I'm past the ability I did it all 10 years ago eyes are bad now. I use Torque app and elm.

Mine stays around 210 I think my pump is an issue as my coolant level drops and I have to bleed again and add fluid. I thought originally was the thermostat as the thermostat rattled. All this happened after 10 years and a very cold night.

And about that bypass hose glad to see someone else agree. I did that on my 03 once my 04 fails or expansion tank breaks again ill be using a rubber hose to straight shot. Great video breakdown

I don't mind the replacement but mine last 10 years before failure and it was a shop who didn't out the correct ratio water to coolant and it froze and damaged pump. I had this brand from Amazon in my cart for pump and hoses so glad u mentioned they failed but also they have a decent customer support.

Can you clear a clog with air or water hose? I have back pressure which caused an overheat in a drive thru. Fluid came out the xpansion tank.

That indicates a short in the cell i got a battery at 4v right not that is charging in 4 deg. Weather that didn't display that error

Turn it on the 200 amp jump setting leave it for 15 min then let battery set for 10min repeat 5 times then check voltage should juice it back enough

When I just coast and cruise it acts hesitant in and out like it wants to cut off. And my service light is on.? Where should start?

Here's what I wonder... If we grounded the rear sensor and unplugged the front sensors, would the Brake Light come on at all? I've gone decades without having a light tell me when my brakes were going out...you just heard or could feel it!
