Never seen a vent like that with a single louver and no screen inside
So I don’t know what I’m talking about but on a real note shouldn’t there be an actual anchor for the screws? I did not see that thing get genuinely fastened to anything but insulation and siding. As I said I can’t speak from experience in doing this but I just felt that seemed wrong. It would’ve been easy enough to cut blocks for cause I know not all of those will hold on well. I could tell by the way 2 or 3 of them faceted. It still is a killer job so don’t hate me. It just felt like a missed step.
@@jordangeerard1918 there’s wood behind the siding. That vent is not coming off unless a tornado comes through
I'm triggered
@@RadRandyBuck nice
eye protection bro, safety is numero uno no buts... lovely repair, def 250 for sure
@@multisimple yaaa you right 😒
$250 is better than a burnt down house
How about applying the sealant before mounting it for a much cleaner installation.
Doesn’t work like that. Appreciate the comment though
Besides, putting sealant around the outside of the box like you just did. I always put some sealant around the part (pipes, conduit, vents, electrical boxes, etc...) that goes into the wall before i put it into place. This way, it has a double the protection from a water leaking into the wall as well as sealing the gaps to help prevent insects from going into the walls.
Looks more like an upgrade, what was wrong with the old one just out of curiosity?
Damper was broken, there were gaps behind the vent because it wasn't secured properly, and the transition hose was not properly secured. They are closing on the house tomorrow and the inspector flagged this as a concern so they had to have it repaired/replaced.
Check out the Rotovac dryer vent cleaner. Its essentially a very strong, very large Shop-vac with a Wye that allows you to vacuum and snake with no dust leakage. Very clean and professional.
lol I'm doing 200+ units so that doesn't help.
I think @123bambam4 was being nice, what he really meant is: STOP GETTING THE LINT EVERYWHERE, especially if you’re claiming to be professional doing 200+
@@dryerventcleaningde fuck yeah spread those microplastics, the future thanks you! godbless!
@@fyfaenihelveteHe is spreading cotton and other fibers that animals will use for their nests in a matter of days
@@dryerventcleaningde After thinking for a bit, I can definitely see some of the advantages of your methods. I'm an HVAC tech and kinda handle all issues surrounding the trade. I'm not solely a vent cleaner so to say. If that was my bread and butter, moving so much equipment, handling so much scheduling, ect. would really slow me down. This method seems very appropriate given (my assumption) your circumstances. Cheers sir, no offense ment.
Bro, grab a shop vac and aim it right at that shit flying everywhere as your feeding the hose. It'll make clean up a Breeze 😎 good luck👍
Wait I was not expecting to see a the accordion type hose and not the smooth solid piece. I already have that shitty set up and was looking up how to do it good
bruh
bro left the bus and run😂😂😂
Holy balls, clean that shit. Da fuq is wrong with people.
what about mice climbing in the hole?
Electric blowers are not as effective for cleaning dryer vent systems. I used a powerful STILT blower and removed tons of debris compared to an electric blower. I wish I had recorded a video to show the difference. I used a gas blower outside to blow air into the home and a leaf vacuum inside to capture the incoming debris. Note: Do not use a gas blower indoors due to the risk of fumes and electrical hazards.
That was the easy part.. this isn’t start to finish
What setting do you use for the reading cfm?
How to fix this? This just happened to me.
These are made to dissolve in the washer not dryer. You put them in the washer drum before you put in the clothes and then wash normally.
yoyoyo sup
Yooo!
Backrooms houses
Who care about that as long the big stuff comes out, I do it every year with my leaf blower every year works perfectly!!
It only takes one wrong move
Can a mouse get in there?
House is disgusting. Needs a good bath.
what rotary kit are you using? link?
Horrid music ruins it
Where can I get this bird guard?
Where can i get this bird guard?
My basement dryer vents the same way. BTW, did you put a bird guard on the outside?
I can't understand the audio? Is it French?
If your gutters are strong and sturdy.
YOU'RE FIRED!! Adding a lint catcher to your vent opening.. are you creating repeat business? 🤔
That is to prevent little critters from gaining entry into the duct/dryer from outside should the damper start to remain partially open. It’s up to the homeowner to check on it once in awhile for lint buildup.
Is that ice??? 🧊
Dude call the cops that’s conspiracy to sa
WE GOTTA GIVE THE CAM GUY A REWARDS
What is the Rod make and model?
What is that flow meter device?
How much do you charge for this?
$100-150/stack
@@dryerventcleaningde would that include the whole vent on the roof as well? Or just what’s shown in the video
$100 a stack?????
Is there dryer on the second floor ??
Ya, pretty common here in Delaware
@@dryerventcleaningde that’s wild
Just a little overdue
Looks like a bird nest.. lol😅😅
Indeed!
Me: number 8 (trick tho) a little dryer by bush does the job perfectly
I’d use a Henry for that
What happens if there is no airflow and dryer vent has been cleaned?
Don’t you dare let that mullet touch the ground
I have done so much research on dryer vent cleaning for laundry mats and have seen your video now and makes sense. I have to clean a 24" duct out of 1 system that is lined with multiple 8" ducts anyways thanks for the video.
Water because the low section of the vent
You bring your purse down there with you too?
Did you feel super manly typing this?
creeper on a creeper
well that's because it had major sewer damage and they did what's called a cap on it
