That's an old hull design the designer called sea sled. Turned down by the US Navy. Very stable.
The vessel you are thinking of is called the Hickman Sea Sled. That is a unique design but very different from the Vaporcat VC5.0. We employ more of a traditional catamaran hull albeit with an asymmetric wave piercing hulls.
At least somebody is thinking about a solution to compromise many of us are looking for in a boat. Glass boats are good for noise suppression unlike aluminium. The resonating noise from Al does spoil a quite day out on the water - slap, slap, slap, slap...!

Hi there Does the hard top fold down? And what is overall height on trailer? Also, is there other bait board configurations? Thank you!
Hi There White Whale. The hardtop dose not fold at the moment. future models might get this feature. The overall height on the trailer is 3025mm The bait tank and associated bait board is optional. if you choose not to have a bait tank then there is a full beam seat across the rear.
