So cool to finally see this on yt! I saw this unit parked at the Trades Center in late 2022, but haven't seen it since, so as you said, I'd imagine it's gone. Very cool to hear more about the history of these trucks, I have fond memories of the old tan trucks; wish they had kept that paint scheme around longer. 3221, one of the Pik-Rites, was working in my area this year and last year, but seems to be having some issues, and the crew seems to stop and pack much more frequently than the Pendpac/Labries. Awesome video, can't wait to see what else you've got coming up! ps. If you're still in the area & into filming hmu, I'd totally be down to catch some trucks sometime.

That should do that for my yard waste collection is by using one blue round can and both Republic service 95 Schaefer gallon with 64 gallon brighter blue republic and 1 EVR American toter and AAA can for yard waste into that rear loader by using the tipper

I work for this company back in 2017 in Georgia. I loved it. They got caught up in a lawsuit shortly after I quit. Because we weren't given breaks. And we weren't paid hourly. We were paid $100 a day. And $100 extra a week bonus if we showed up all five days that week. A lot of people had a problem with this. But I personally loved it. If you had a good driver and you were a good slinger or your crew was good at slinging. You could possibly be done a little after lunch. So the no breaks encouraged us to get done as fast as possible so we could be home as soon as possible therefore technically increasing our hourly wage. Yeah we work like dogs but we got in we got out. We got s*** done and we went home. I actually kind of miss it. But I've been inside a factory the last 5 or 6 years. I don't know if I could even do that work anymore lol. It was fun while I could. I will say though. I know our company was making a lot of money. And I never understood why we had such bad fleet of trucks. There was many days where I had to sit around and wait for our truck to get towed and I got put on another truck to finish a route and I would come home at like 8:00 or 9:00 at night since being out at 5:00 to 6:00 in the morning. And have to get up and do it all again. I know heavy duty equipment has a lot of maintenance involved. But we only had like one or two nice trucks out of about 20 trucks all together. It just didn't make sense. We were expanding at the time too. So I know again that money was coming in. I wish if anything that place would take better care of their equipment. Because the job itself was pretty damn awesome

what a fantastic video. the beginning had me hooked, the finale was perfect with that shot of them driving off, idk how well that matches up with the order you actually filmed each clip in but I'm impressed with the result. everything about these guys is professional and shows experience. I don't often see crews that work exactly how I like to but these guys did everything from emptying cans to moving at a pace I'm comfortable with to even running the packer how I tend to run heil packers. it's really kinda cool. also unique to see and hear a truck that just blasts sound all day instead of revving only for pack cycles. maybe not my preference but still unique. terrific work
