Thank you for taking the time to show the set up! Needed some validation that I set it up right. 😅
I've been looking for repair tips for an inflatable Santa that pops in and out of his chimney....but isn't popping out...any recommendations? I wonder if that means there's two blowers in there? It inflates if I pull it out myself.
Thanks for stopping by! We only have one pop-up style inflatable (Halloween), which I've not had to repair yet, so I'm not aware of the mechanisms used. I'd imagine that there's a secondary system of some sort that controls the pop-up aspect --maybe a second blower, or perhaps a timer with an air valve that allows air to be fed from the main blower (i.e., no second blower). My recommendation would be to unzip the inflatable and see if you can find the mechanism attached to the Santa piece. Is there another blower, electrical wiring, or just air tubing? Is there a control box attached to the main blower? Hopefully it's just a sticking air valve that can be re-lubricated with WD40. Good luck!
Can you link the kit
Sure, here’s the one I bought (AFF Link): amzn.to/3OLqN1Wa. Please make sure to double check the power rating of the old blower to the one being purchased 🙂
Great video, just make sure your blade is square to the fence.
@@ChristisKing117 Great tip! I’ve had no issues with squareness, but always worth checking it during setup. Thanks for watching!
Try best plans for woodworkers. WoodPrix.
Big help!
Glad it helped, thanks for watching!
Thanks! New Sub here
Welcome! Thanks for the sub 😀
Don't understand how someone could dislike this video. Insane! Thanks so much for this info. I needed this... I had an old/cheap table saw with no bells and whistles. Just upgraded and I was lost on a few things. 🙏🏾
Thank you for watching and the kind words! Hope you enjoy your new saw --it was a gamechanger for me after upgrading from my old one 😀
looks nice, can you connect a turntable to it?
Thanks for watching! I'm not too familiar with turntables, but have seen that there's a Pyle phono preamp that may allow you to use this receiver with a turntable.
Freaking hack job... you asked..😊
I sure did, thanks! I need to stop measuring once and cutting twice 😂
Wow
I do this but don’t cut the power. My brother taught me to do it like that when I was a kid. After a few jolts you never make a mistake again. Still doing it that way 30 years later.
Ah, I’ve never dared to perform a replacement with live wires. I wouldn’t trust myself to accidentally touch both conductors and get zapped 🫣
😁 probably not the smartest way to do it but the jolts never killed me. Just made me feel interesting conductive passages through my body 😂
Thanks! Good test
Thanks for watching! This compressor has been a nice upgrade from my old one.
I bought the skil tsble saw a couple years ago. The throat plate was plastic. On your saw it appeared to be metallic. Any idea if the new throat plate works with the older saw? And did you buy yours from amazon? Thanks for your time
I’d assume the throat plates are interchangeable, but not 100% sure. Seems like Skil switched over to metal throat plates within the past year. Hopefully they are selling the metal throat plates separately for those looking to upgrade from plastic. Yes, I purchased my saw from Amazon.
Following your instructions and the rail knob won't turn. Don't see any obstructions. Any ideas as to what is impeding the rail from turning as easily as it does on your video?
Oops. Found the locking lever under the table!
Sorry, I may have skipped showing that on the video. Glad you found it 😀
this is such a very helpful video-thank you.
Glad you found it useful, thanks for watching!
I made it about three weeks ago. On woodprix I learned a lot about it. Check it mates.
Great to see that... I made it too. Plans from woodprix helped me a lot :)
ID the high spot(s) on the floor with the level and don't go above them. Try using a longer straight edge when spreading the material - like a piece of square pipe, or even a meter stick level. It's a bit of a mess and you have to work the game plan pretty quick since that stuff sets up fast.
Yeah, I had marked out high/low spots before pouring, but didn't stick to plan during the pour. You'd think after using SLC for multiple other projects I'd have learned my lesson.
I thought the self leveling stuff works best qhen the entire floor is coated all at once...
@@Gorphee I think it does. I only had a corner of the room that needed leveling, and I underestimated how much I needed during the first pour.
I think you effed up. Not with the floor, but recording yourself using your wifes fine china. Thats called evidence.
Haha, true --I probably should have edited that part out! I always find myself borrowing kitchenware to measure things out on my projects, I should probably buy my own set.
Thanks so very much for this helpful and concise introduction to the Skil table saw. Just about to open the box and thanks to you, I know how to set it up!
Hope you enjoy the saw, and thanks for watching!
Does it have any mode that can change the psi coming out?
The nozzle has 5 settings that can be used to adjust the spray angle, which will change the resulting water pressure output. There are two settings for wash that are lower pressure than the non-wash settings. Aside from the nozzle, I don't think there's a way to change pressure being produced by the engine itself (unless adding a separate flow control device).
When the door is in the locked position the handle should cover the screws so that its harder for an invader to unscrew when locked..
That's a great tip that I had not even considered during installation --thanks for sharing!
Great video! Thanks for showing all the details. I set mine up while watching. Great job!
Glad you found this helpful, thanks for watching! Enjoy your new saw!
Yes, thank you for the great video. I just set mine up in my living room while watching as well. 👍
Same!! 👍
This video demonstrates blowing out a fairly standard sprinkler system setup through a spigot near the backflow preventer. Other sprinkler system designs may require different adapters/connections than what is shown here --regardless of connection point, the process should be similar across most systems.
I am thinking of getting this or the Matebo at Lowe's. I need to do a bunch of Dado cuts. I think the Matebo is generally underrated. Of course its almost 2 times more. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching! I can't speak for the quality of the Metabo table saw, but I have a Metabo miter saw which has been a workhorse. The wheels on the Metabo table saw stand would be a nice benefit for transport and probably wouldn't require much more space for storage.
Great video. I love the blue shed with the windows that’s exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks! These windows have been solid for us on both our pool house and playhouse.
Debating between this or the skil miter saw. Just worried because I’m well Over 6 foot tall And it says its working height is 33 inches. What do you all think?
I’m 6’2” and haven’t had any issue with the height. Evaluating the types of cuts you’ll be making most frequently may be the best way to determine which saw to go for. On most general household construction, trim work, etc, I’ve stuck with my miter. But, this table saw has been perfect for precision ripping.
@ I have limited space so being able to put it up and the better dust collection, and ability to also cut miters with the table saw has me leaning that way lol. Thank you for responding. I’m about 6’4 so I was worried.
I love the color of your mower. Throughout the winter I handle the leaves with several methods. I want to have one or two cuts in the winter just mulching down the leaves into the ground. Whether it takes 2 or 3 passes. The leaves are free fertilizer. The other times, I will use my blower to bring all the leaves into the yard. Then I may do a combination of hand raking and use a wide scoop shovel to put the leaves into a tote container. The city recycles the leaves to offer free mulch to the public. They give us up to three tote containers. Then I will use my lawnmower with the bagger to pick up the remaining leaves to have the yard looking clean.
Orange happens to be my favorite color, although it did not factor into my purchase of this mower! The leaf recycling program sounds like a great way to help disperse leaves to others!
What's the verdict when it comes to taking care of leaves in the yard: *Mow *Rake/Blow/Vacuum/Haul *Burn *Leave Alone
Please, could you tell me if the bench is made of aluminum or not?
How do you start it I did everything but I can get it to go
After filling with fuel and oil, I just had to pull the starter cord a couple times and it fired right up. If that’s not working for you, double check that the spark plug is connected, air filter is not blocked and that the fuel lever is open. Good luck!
They use something called a ramset to nail into concrete. It’s pretty cool
His boyfriend is soooo proud
They've been setting nails into cement long before the inventor of the ramset was even swimming in his daddies balls. It was called being a man.
? I got The same person washes a 3100.Just like yours with the great button.I took off the cover to the air filter. And I discover it looks like it's a line missing to the throttle body on one part on the black. One not the greatly and it won't start yeah

Ah, thanks for letting me know --it should be squared away now!
Great Video! I think I am more impressed by the Playhouse you built! Wow! Not that the table saw isn't good.
Thanks for the kind words! The playhouse was a fun challenge for me, and is now being put to good use by the kids and their friends.
Thank you. I came to see if you mentioned the bit size for those screws. I *think* it’s a T20. I’ll just try the old flathead…
Yeah, at the 4:03 mark of the video I ended up switching over to the torx (T-20) with my power driver. It was getting too tedious trying to use a flathead 🙂
You didn't show how to adjust the red marker. It looks easy enough I was just wondering why they don't give you a hex key that fits it! (or maybe they do? That's why Im here :))
2:15 PLEASE TAKE NOTE: My saw came with the rail LOCKED (the handle is on the right side of the table to lock and unlock the rail) SO I thought my knob was too tight! NOPE, the rail was locked!
I did the same thing, pus I didnt see the styro block under the motor.
I have the Question 3. It has the same lens as the Quest Pro.
Yep! The Quest 3 has the pancake lenses (same as Pro) while the Quest 3S has the Fresnel lenses (same as Quest 2). Definitely a big performance gap between the two lens types, and probably a large reason why the Quest 3 is quite a bit more expensive than the new Quest 3S. But, Quest 3S is still a nice upgrade from the Quest 2 with the improved processor and mixed reality addition (color pass through). I will be releasing a comparison video between the headsets to help highlight the differences.
I love it thank you
Good job.
I have had one for 3 months...incredible. The only issue is that I have to pull the start cord 6x bore it will start. When I first got it I only had to pull once. Very nice mower and the price is great!
I'm mowing less now in the fall and have noticed that I sometimes have to pull it 2 or 3x. I figured that it just needs to be cranked a couple times to get the engine primed after sitting for longer periods of time between use.
I’ll give it a shot. The last solar cover i bought is a mess. Falling apart. Only lasted 4 months! $200 Amazon. That’s the Second one i bought. The First one lasted 12 months. But with that one Them little plastic air bubbles came off and were floating everywhere. Another $200. Thank you. I’ll give you update.
Good luck trying this out! Like many things, applying the plastic sheets takes a bit of practice to master the technique.
Any updates?🙏
So with the very little I've messed with the drive system i noticed if the drive handle/cable is to tight it doesn't pull backwards. Its a safty thing to protect the drive system. I really hope i can get mine to speed up a little. Way to slow for my needs.
Neato
This is my 2nd year using this mover but it's terrible at mulching because it blocks up the back and you have on open the back and clear the grass or it will clog and die. This for me is the only problem with this mower it's just terrible at mulching.
@@cjayjr7706 Interesting that you have issues with the mower getting clogged and dying. I’ve had blockages but it’s never bogged down the engine, at worst I end up with some large clumps of clippings in the yard until I clear the blockage. But, I just finished my 1st year so hopefully this isn’t something that will arise with additional use.
Where can I purchase this?
I purchased mine on Amazon (AFF Link: amzn.to/3W8Kc1b)
Nice save 👏💯 I can't believe the kit came with the zip tie and extra lights, that's great!
