The thing I dislike the most about the Mizzou fanbase is that there are too many fans that only show up if the team is doing really well. If everyone showed up and created an environment that intimidated oppents and attracted recruits for a Mizzou team that's fighting to get bowl eligible the same way they do for a team that's in the playoff hunt there would probably be fewer Mizzou teams fighting to get bowl eligible.

What's even more annoying about Homecoming being an early kickoff is that Mizzou Athletics' only request regarding the different kickoff times was that Homecoming not be an early kickoff.

I would alter the 2007 Big 12 Championship Game so Mizzou could have faced Ohio State in the National Championship Game. While it's tempting to go with the 2013 SEC Championship Game, we were ranked #1 going into the 2007 Big 12 Title Game and a win there would have for sure put us in the natty. Mizzou was only ranked at #5 going into the 2013 SEC Title Game with Bama ranked ahead of us at #4, so even if we won that game, there's no guarantee the BCS computers would have ranked us ahead of the Tide.

Yeah, those Walgreens packs don’t really have what I consider “hits”. Seefried was a career minor leaguer, his best year coming in 1997 when he hit a combined .295, with 32 HRs, and 92 RBI across AA Binghamton and AAA Norfolk while in the Mets organization. Was always a solid AA player, but really slumped when he got to AAA, which never got him a shot at the bigs.

I always remember Nebraska being Mizzou's 2nd biggest rival growing up, so I'll always see them that way.
