Day 220: 365 Days Gratitude To Transform Your World
Day 220: I am grateful to explore the world
Welcome to another episode of Dear God, with Gratitude.
𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐀 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐱 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭
To relax, connect with nature, and practice gratitude by meditating by the beach.
𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 30-45 minutes
𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭: Head to the beach early in the morning or late in the afternoon when it's less crowded. Set up a blanket or towel where you can comfortably sit or lie down.
𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟: Sit or lie down comfortably on the sand. Take off your shoes to let your feet feel the sand. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, inhaling the fresh ocean air.
𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬: Allow the sound of the waves crashing against the shore to be your background music. With each wave, imagine releasing any stress or negative thoughts.
𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐜𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞: Imagine the vastness of the ocean representing the endless things you can be grateful for. Think of at least 5 things you are grateful for in your life. With each thought, feel the calmness that comes from acknowledging the good.
𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐡𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐜𝐞𝐚𝐧: As you continue to focus on the sound of the waves, sync your breathing with their rhythm. Inhale as the waves roll in, and exhale as they recede, releasing any remaining tension.
𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝: After your meditation, take a moment to write a word or phrase in the sand that represents something you are deeply grateful for. It could be "health," "love," "family," or anything else. As the waves wash away your words, feel a sense of release and renewal.
𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐜𝐡: Finish the meditation by slowly stretching your arms above your head, standing up, and taking a deep breath. Feel grounded and refreshed.
𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Bring a small journal with you and spend a few minutes reflecting on how the experience made you feel and what thoughts or insights came up during the meditation.

Helps you disconnect from the busyness of life and reconnect with nature.

      Add a time you can commit to everyday, if you miss it keep going. It’s a matter knowing you keep taking one step at a time. I too struggled with consistency in the beginning and now I don’t miss a day! Keep going. You’ve got this! 🩷

      I put it in my calendar and do gratitude before sleep as this is a time I could never forget or when I wake up too. Try a time you know you will have time to do it. Put a little note or an alarm whatever will help you remember 🙏

      It was from earlier this year: 21st feb 2024, I’m reading all the entries from 2024. I started the TH-cam channel at a workshop and thought why not share my journal from this year! It was an absolutely amazing day!!! So stunning!!! And the walk we did on: 19th may was also so amazing too!!! Thank you for watching!!! 🙏🩷

    You know , I stopped writing in my daily gratitude channel in February.of this year. I allowed myself to tell myself I was just too busy to keep up with it . I can honestly say that my life has taken a sharp decline since I stopped daily gratitude. When I qas actively journaling, things seemed to magically fall into alignment.
