When I first saw 59 102 in the new paint job at Haywards Heath I was disappointed because I thought it was going into the heidelburg materials livery same as 59 101

@Star_silly we went to Eastleigh in the morning but people were throwing eggs at us from the car park so we got a free ticket to go anywhere we wanted

Unfortunately though that area of track in lewes has been resurfaced and those rumbling noises were removed due to engineering works, as they call them. Its good they did it but its also very unfortunate at least to me because it used to add a sense of fun in the journey back.

Is it just me or do the alarm noises for the doors on a Gatwick express train (which I assume your on judging by the voice of the announcements on the train), sound way more fun and loud than a standard southern 377 class, is that just me! 17:01

Love this video thanks for posting! I left Eastbourne in 2018 but used to love riding this service. It used to be Brighton to Ashford but notice it now starts and terminates at Eastbourne. It's first stop used to be Bexhill so they've added the other local stops onto the journey now.
Yh it's annoying it only goes as far to Eastbourne
I do remember when it used to go to Brighton if the electric power was out everyone used to try and get on this and it could get quite heavily delayed so could be one of the reasons 😞
