I love how you do memes. We know about them, but I also love how you incorporate them.

I don't want to denigrate your work, it looks very good, and you worked hard and well for it, but it's kinda a testament to the problem in today's cinema overusing VFX/CGI simply because it's way cheaper to make. Don't get me wrong, what you did is definitely a lot of work and a lot of heart put into it. The whole video comes together much better than I could ever do it. But the fact that a single person can effectively create a scene close to that of Avatar or other major recent releases within a week shows that, after all, the amount of effort required to make those movies (not this video) is ... quite low ... and overall it's rare to watch a 3D movie that doesn't come across as obvious (sorry to say) fake CGI. I have a personal bias because I really just love authenticity, but I think that reality and CGI can work together much better than when they are separate, and today they are leaning heavily on the cheap side of it because a good makeup and people to play the orcs in the foreground looks good, but it doesn't make a movie sell well in the end, so good cinema be damned right? Apologies if this sounds rude, it's absolutely not the objective nor the point. Much love and keep going! <3

Props to VFX artists of all types. They have God like patience Wich is why it pisses me off when people give out trash of a movie. Lets say like Minecraft The VFX in that looks sooooo good.

You didn't do it for $20 though. You have to take into account the cost of developing everything you used and the hours put into it.

If you look at real footage of a whale breaching out of the water, you’ll notice how little water is actually thrown upward. In reality, the water simply clings to the whale, almost mirroring its trajectory in flight, and there’s hardly any water as such. The original image (reference) seems closer to realism compared to these special effects. It looks as though someone just tossed a bunch of water into the air. It would be better to spend 50 hours studying real videos of whales breaching.

The only thing I wish was done a bit better, were the small rockets right after release because they all are pointing the same direction, meanwhile in the movie, they point different directions and after they are ignited, they seem to be navigated. Anyway I loved this AND the water animation as well :)
