I love the final battle between Ahsoka and Darth Vader and how it played out in Star Wars Rebels but it did feel like was lacking a bit i would have liked it to be like this Anakin: Ahsoka Ahsoka: (gasps) "turns around slowly" Anakin: Ahsoka Ahsoka: (whispers softly) Anakin.... they stare at each other for a moment Ahsoka: i won't leave you! not this time Anakin: (stares at her) but why? Ahsoka: because if i leave you i will fail Anakin: fail? Ahsoka: yes fail!! why do you think i came here Anakin?! Anakin: to stop me? Ahsoka: yes but also to save you Anakin: save me? Ahsoka: yes to save you to stop you from doing these awful things and save you from the darkness you allowed to twist your mind and enter your heart Anakin: is that true? Ahsoka: yes of course it's true!!! why would i lie to you Anakin?! Anakin: then i'm afraid you have already failed Ahsoka: what? Ahsoka: do you know how much pain i felt!? do you have any idea!? i didn't want to believe let alone think!! that Darth Vader was you! i kept having visions and nightmares about you turning evil!! i thought about you all the time! i had dreams about you every night! i loved you! and i missed you so much!! Anakin: sure Ahsoka: it's true Anakin!!! Ahsoka: and what about master Obi-wan! or master Yoda! they were heartbroken Anakin!! and most of all what about Padme!? Anakin: Padme?...... Ahsoka: yes Anakin......... Padme Ahsoka: i think she was the most heartbroke out of all of us you may have started it by choking her but in the end what she really died from was from a broken heart a broken heart over what YOU the man she loved had become the pain she felt for you caused her to have hard labor and die shortly after the baby was born Anakin: the baby?..... Ahsoka: yes Anakin the baby.... since the labor was hard it put a lot of stress onto the baby the medical droids did everything they could but the stress of the birth it was to hard on him Anakin: "him"!? Ahsoka: yes Anakin the baby was a boy you had a son but you lost him along with your wife he passed away a few hours after his birth and secretly buried in Padme's tomb alongside his mother i'm so sorry Anakin

I swear i am on the verge of CRYING!!!!!!!!!!!! you were sooooo right!! this song fits her perfectly! i think it really does capture Ahsoka's feelings quite well her feelings of pain and disbelief over Anakin's succumb to the darkness and her struggling to not only accept it and move on but also believing in herself to make the right choices as well as her fear of how to make things better i also think it captures how lost and empty she feels without him and also her guilt about leaving him behind, not being with him when it happened and not being able to stop or save him i think lyrics like this show how lost and empty she feels "I've seen dark before but not like this this is cold this is empty this is numb the life i knew is over the light's are out hello darkness i'm ready to succumb i follow you around i always have but you've gone to a place i cannot find this grief has a gravity it pulls me down....." And "how to rise from the floor when it's not you i'm rising for?"
