En apparence entre le concept, l'humour de Didier Super et la pochette on pourrait s'attendre à un truc pété fait à la va-te-faire-foutre, et pourtant c'est bien produit, il y a des variations de rythme à chaque morceau, des breaks, des influences hardcore et ska, des solos, des choeurs, de l'humour, il y a vraiment de quoi s'éclater. I'd recommend playing in the desert with the Downhill bike. You'll go way faster, so it'll be easier to clear huge gaps between dunes, and you'll be able to land bigger drops safely since the bike is the sturdiest of the bunch. It makes things much easier, and since you're going faster and jumping higher you'll probably get more points too. :-)

The best tip I can give you for this issue is to master counter-pumping. Hold the right stick up (↑) as you're about to land : it will significantly soften the impact. Doing so, you might land jumps you wouldn't survive otherwise. The game does a pretty bad job at teaching you this, as this information is hidden in the Extras > Advanced Tips > Counter-Pumping tab despite its usefulness. It's something you really want to get used to do consistently, because it will increase your survivability and help you in almost all of your runs. If you wonder how I manage to survive big jumps in the video, that's mostly thanks to counter-pumping. I've heard people say that if you counter-pump at a precise timing before landing, it would be even more efficient. It might be true, but I've never bothered with it during my play-time and I'm doing just fine, so feel free to consider it or not. Hope this helps :-)

Hi, This video was recorded way before the bike types update, so the one you're seeing here is the starting one (the enduro bike iirc). However I'd highly recommend playing in the desert with the Downhill bike now. It's the desert, the first biome you'll meet in Career Plus. In order to unlock this mode you have to gather 100 000 total REP :-)

Ok, so?

The Buckethead is a rare item. If you complete a run with a score of at least 10K REP, you'll have a 20% chance to get a rare item. If you complete your run with a score of 20K, you'll have a 40% chance. In order to have a 100% chance to get rare item, you'll need to get at least 50K REP in a single run. Then, if you're eligible for a rare item, the game will choose one from its pool of rare items. The one you'll unlock might be the Buckethead, but it also might be something else. You'll need luck at this point. But keep in mind that the less rare items are remaining in the item pools, the bigger is your chance to get the Buckethead.

You might wanna check the guide I wrote and linked in the description. There's a whole part about landings. Mostly, it comes down to two tips : counter-pumping and matching the shape of the dunes. I suggest you to play without using Last Stand until you get the hang of riding in the Desert. You should still be able to get a lot of REP, and once you feel comfortable (i.e. you don't bail anymore) you can get back to using Last Stand. :-)

A really good way is to get really good at fakies and try to get the more balance riding backwards crewmember and just dofakies down the whole trail

@@cutewalter6769 True. Riding fakie grants A LOT more REP, but it's also much riskier :-p

100 000 total REP are required to unlock Career Plus (Desert is the first world of Career Plus) :-)

In order to get a blue REP you have to join the team Kinetic. The team Enemy will give a red REP, and Arboreal a green one :-)

Once you hit 100 000 total REP, you unlock a new game mode called Career Plus. The first world available in Career Plus is the desert.

Cleveland Brown just work on unlocking the first 4 locations. You’ll have the 100,000 you’ll need by the time you unlock the 4th location (Peaks).
