Some curious things: It looked like your power STAYED on. Fortunately, the wind did not reach the level where there was airborne debris; trees shredded and downed to varying degrees; and, the houses were not losing shingles and getting their windows broken. No vehicles flipped.

You're lucky. Every storm has moved past us or fizzled on approach to central Philadelphia. Still waiting for a good storm up here.

I'm in NY where we got a storm that was crazy. Trees were down every where but thank goodness power stayed on, only flickered. Hope everyone was okay cause emergency vehicles were all over the place during and after the storm

Here in Southern California, this kind of storm we get during El Nino, mostly in January, and February.

Here in Southern California, we get these kinds of thunderstorms in the wintertime. Mainly mid-December, January, February and early to mid-March, especially during El Nino. Summer thunderstorms are rare. Sometimes, we get intense storms in November and April.

With squall lines, sometimes they result in very heavy rain, large hail 65 MPH winds, frequent lightning with lots of CGs, and probably tornadoes.

Was listening to this as I worked from home - was surprised to see how sunny it looked after the 14 minute mark when I checked back in.
