I love catching bluegill at my local pond. I'm planning on putting together a 2 or 3 wt fiberglass outfit to fish alongside my kids in the summer.

It's a "tits" boat! That takes me back to the late 70's. Too funny.

With only that much line out a simple rule cast would suffice.

Because of the area I fish has so many trees and bushes hanging right over the water, I can roll cast far better than I can actually cast when I fly fish. It’s practically all I do

Pretty poor roll cast

I learned to roll cast years ago, and I am glad I did. Being mostly a bank fisherman, roll casting lets me get in to spots I could not with typical casting. It also allows for slight casting in to the wind.

Not a fly guy, but great cast... you should try jigging for kokanee, so much more fun than trolling for them. Lucky Duck Fishing has alot of info on it.
