Hiking with my FIDDLE up to the amazing Pikestolen (Pulpit Rock) in Norway - I played my fiddle high up above the Lysefjord - we had rain and hail along the hike, but thankfully, the sun popped out when we reached Pulpit Rock😃 The music I played includes some Norwegian music from Peer Gynt by Edvard Grieg and traditional Norwegian fiddle song Fanitullen - some was played live on Pulpit Rock and then I added some more music and overdubs that I played at home on my guitar, fiddle, bass, and singing😄

no superbloom this season,, I went there 3 times already in the past 4 weeks,, OVERALL,, not even 1/3 as good as last year... but you still able to see some spot pocket little area with yellow,,, pink flowers... no big surprise....

The flowers on the Carrizo Plain were amazing! We just went camping in the Carrizo Plain National Monument - April 2024 - April 7,8,15,16 - 2024. The flowers were spectacular in the hills where we camped. Thank you for posting most up-to-date blooms. Personally, I have wanted to see such a beautiful nature occurance, yet not enough to deal with the crowds or bad behavior of others. However, recently my mother has wanted to see one but she is limited mobility now. So I have been researching and cross referencing so many things just to get her access to a potential site 😅❤

What an uplifting sight! Mother Nature rewards us every year with her bounties although mankind fails her continuously.

So you can access the lightouse without a guide? You just can’t go inside but you can cruise around the exterior?
