waist belt tends to slip , any solution you recommend ?
i've made sure it was below my actual belt to help stabilize it more. but unless you actually thread it through your belt loops, you'll alway have a fanny pack that moves around a bit. that's just fanny packs period.

it's called "wall control." From amazon. you can also look into "gun wall," it's the same thing
Is this bag waterproof? Or resistant
resistant. i haven't tested how much it can resist but I have walked in the rain on hikes with it and it held up. probably a 30 min walk in light rain.

Don't people also use the ankers and the paracord as a quick pull system to open the gun compartment? That's how I've been trying to use it to no real success. It never opens enough.

What pistol have you carried in that bag?
I carry a gen4 G19 with a holosun 507c Optic and Streamlight TLR-7a WML
That's with a full holster. You should be able to fit a larger gun with a trigger guard holster that you can tether to some anchor points in the bag.
Wow I just found yoir video about the SOCP Fanny Pack, love your setup and advice on it. I got a question about you carrying a 20round mag in cook county, I ask because I live in Chicagoland too lol.
Hey thanks for stopping by! So state law is usually superseded by the municipal laws put in place by Cook county especially if you are on trail by cook county. So unfortunately, us law abiding citizens will lose out if we decide to carry extended mags if we are ever caught with them. meanwhile, we got thugs with 50rd drums running around the city. lame i know.

2:54 The amount of time you spent to hook that G-hook is definitely a design issue. You had to cut and edit the video, if there is an emergency situation, you won’t be able to pause and try to fix that hook.
