@@Hobynist I'm approaching the end of my hardcore run. I already reached the primary containment facility. I'm going veryyyy slowly and carefully :) If there's any advice you'd like to share...

That is a fun run ☺️ keep a close look on your battery&oxygen levels. I ran out of batteries with the cyclops and seamoth before I learned. Also If you are with seamoth, some creatures like to attack it If you leave it unattented. If you hear sounds, better to check them out. When Leviathans attack, turn off the cyclops engine. With those tips and medpacks with you I think you'll survive.

Almost is correct 😄 this boss did not give this win easily, it's very unpredictable and has one attack that I can't figure out no matter how many times I try. But, with the right distance it rarely does it hooray!

Imagine yourself in a situation: you are in the Lost River entrance with your Cyclops&Prawn. Suddenly there's a monstrosity on your way. Maybe you can get through with the cyclops, or you could find another way below. You could also return to the surface to get gasopods, or wherever they are. But it surely is now proven possible just to stay there, and do an easy kill with the Prawn and get rid of the problem ☺️ Just with the regular arm, not the drill 👍 and of course you will need one repair tool. Just don't go for the adult ghost leviathan, that is pretty tough!

That's a interesting one for me as well, I had lot of trouble with that on the playthrough. I anxious to see If it's similar to cel 240 with it's behaviour

Yea also after I beat the ibis for the first time I subconsciously beat it a second time without realizing lol

I got kinda lucky. I liked how the twin stun needle make my AC look like it had helicopter propellers, so I usually put those on. As it turns out, double needle with machine gun and pulse sword makes for a very useful build.

@@maxireigl1919 Yeah, heh. The stun stuff is pretty strong. They used to be stronger but got nerfed pretty early on.

I was using a Lightweight build with machine guns on the first try, with max kinetic damage and max close-range assist. And I got this boss on the first try 😄 and all I needed to do is keep close to it and keep shooting. Got some luck there also

@@Hobynist Nice. My style has always been more of a skirmisher. With a focus on medium range and a mix of damage types. Whittle them down for a close-in finish. Being flexible was my downfall in that one. But I beat her with it.

Yeah I noticed that on my playthrough ☺️ it destroyed some of the harder bosses on the first try

Your build works really well I almost killed it but it used that move I healed and it used it again lol ( I’ve been at this roadblock for 3 weeks )

@@basher2870 Well that's just bad luck if it does it twice 😄 It's the move where he moves back quickly and shoots the red stuff. I got to dodge it few times but it's much more difficult in both phases than the other attacks

Yeah :) Most of this games bosses can be run through with a build that is not optimal. That's my first playthrough experience. Couple of bosses left that i haven't done

I miss this boss already cos I'm now trying the CEL 240 😄 I think I'll try the kicks on the cleaner, that sounds like fun.

Nice! Yeah I think these will help to get started, at least one way to get forward. I'm sure there's many ways to do no hits. I'm obsessed with this build so I'm stuck with this ☺️

@hobynist yeah the back gats take some getting used to. They're good for close range stagger build up, I use one on my main AC atm

Yes 😊 I did not know that when making the video. I was informed on a previous comment about this so I have another video on the adult. It was a bit tougher. Should have used the regular arm instead of the drill arm

I have a similar situation with many games :) Collector's editions sell out pretty fast, and many times we fell in love with a game much after the release. Glad I got this one.

the 30mm nightfall will be the in-game version as opposed to this collector’s edition which has the reveal trailer version well either one is fine but i guess having the one you actually fight in game is cool

Thanks, good to know! I only played the game for a few hours so it's all new to me. The body looks exactly same to me, I tried to find similar weapons and head from the inventory for the comparison but did not find them. I assumed they are unlocked at some point.

@@Hobynist I just felt to point that out. I think it might say which AC it is on the box. The majority of the parts for the Nightfall AC won’t be available to you for a few chapters, and the head can only be acquired on NG+. Also you might want to cover the codes, or redeem them before releasing the video, because viewers might redeem them before you if you just show them.

I mean the only difference is the Head which wasn't made by RaD/Carla and Nightfall could've been one of Walters hounds that was thought dead. I think the speculation is that it's 620 from the trailer and they survived the PCA cannon assault to become a independent merc on Rubicon with the new title of "Raven".

@@mistermann4163 AFAIK it was Raven that brought the Corps back to Rubicon. So Raven working for Walter in that mission, or being in a mission funded by Overseer, isn’t that out of the way. We know that at least the aces we fight usually extract from the destroyed ACs, so Raven extracting after Nightfall was critically damaged and simply replacing it twice (after the sabotage, and then after whatever wrecked it in the intro mission for us to get the license), given with all the money we make as a nobody, is definitely reasonable.

I don't mind If someone uses the codes, I think it's a nice surprise for someone If they are still available 👍 For me the game and the physical stuff are the most important parts of these editions.

If you know how to do him Balteus isn’t that hard. He’s placed very early in the game tho so you might lack the equipment.

Yes you are correct. Drill arm does 28 damage per second and the regular arm 50/s, according to the wiki. This would have saved some time if I had known this 🙂
