In this video I show and explain the inner workings and parts of the Lionel Coil Couplers and how to test them. I use a UCS track for testing then test the coil with no UCS track, just AC voltage and jumper wires from the track. I then show testing the operation using a DC power supply and finally a 9 volt battery. I also show and discuss the "torn down" coil coupler parts.
