You can buy torpedoes from rescue megaship without material or other unlock requirements and no, torpedoes deal no damage to thargoid vessels according to my experiences

@aggins2665 yeah, even in info it says they deal 0 dmg. It's like an emp rocket

I mentioned one torp closer to the end. It seems like overheating it decreases resistance and maybe it will start taking damage

@@silentjay3272 Just make sure you have enough hull or caustic sink launcher to get through the caustic cloud. Repair and decontamination limpets can help as well.

The only things I use this for are killing cyclops at most or in wings. Others exert and I’ll do the hearts. Due to the ship being slow and not agile having a shield will stop most damage going to my hull and as I mentioned before unless I’m in a wing I’ll only go for cyclops and below.

But I stil replaced the RJ45 cat6 Ethernet cable & plug, since we all tend to kick, hit, or snag while cleaning those from time to time, plus your cable guy might have stapled through yours like mine was... @@melik3976 I just land at the site and hop out and dismiss ship. Sometimes I take the SRV.

Recently I’ve been getting spotted by Glaives as they can see cold targets. At the moment is seems like my limpets are the most limiting factor as they can’t keep up with the pods that get released.

@@cmdr----whirlwind---- No doubt. Similar issues. I'm running a 7A Universal, just so that I can deploy 8 limpets at a time. If I ran a larger ship (of which I'm strongly considering), I'd run a couple 5's in tandem. If a Glaive (or anything else gets on you), don't run straight. Whip around the hull of the titan, staying close, (from top to bottom) and you lose them pretty quickly. I'm running the Clipper at the moment, as I can generally "silent boost" my way into the maelstrom, without worrying too much about the hyperdictions / interdictions.

@@perilousrange yeah, I just reposition to another part of the titan while staying as close as possible. I’ve got one 7 universal limpet controller. I’m think of changing some of my corrosive resistant rack to limpets since the pods aren’t corrosive. Limpet collection rate is the only things that’s limiting me atm.

@@cmdr----whirlwind---- You want to wing-collect? I could join up with you. I'm faster, could switch from collect to bait-mode. I experimented with the pods at my carrier to figure out they weren't corrosive. If I were to go Cutter, I'd have a Class 8 Rack, a 7A Universal, and few 5A collectors. I don't think I'd hull-tank all that much; as can typically run-and-repair without too much trouble. I generally go unarmed, unless I'm baiting. Then, I just run a Class 1 Long Range Rail.

I went and built that Cold Cutter... It's terrible. The Clipper is so much more effective. Faster, more maneuverable. Cutter was a bust.
