I'm not knocking these kids. they did great! The drum and guitar teachers should be fired. Not even close. They're not helping these students by allowing them to bash the drums and distort their way through a classic blues number. That's not teaching them them to respect the genres they're playing. I used to have students attempt to shred during blues solos and that shit was shut down immediately. There's a time and place for that. I assume this particular School of Rock has young teachers who themselves don't understand the nuances required. Again, I applaud any young musicians and vocalists and these ones show a lot of promise, but it's obvious by that performance that more experienced teachers are required at this particular school.
