Okay guys bare with me while I try and explain this so that 99% of people can understand it. For those who are getting butt hurt that Sadguru doesn't advocate for psychedelics and other hallucinogenic substances. Open your mind a little ffs 😠. Can these substances give you a strong taste of liberation? Absolutely! Can they literally help you gain some of the most profound experiences that can bring about serious positive change to a person? Hell it can even lead you to Sadguru, yes very much yes!. Now what happens when a young person/ child or someone's who not actually ready to receive the blessing of these substances takes it ignortantly? it has the power of completely destroying their life, and it can even end someone's life! Now imagine Sadguru going around saying yes, everyone, go around taking these substances and the sheep's begin to start popping lsd tabs and former drug addicts or people with heavy trauma and little self awareness starts taking Mushrooms and other psychedelic to try and escape reality or worse go around doing it with their equally damaged peer groups? They will completely misuse these gifts without proper training and understanding? What happens then, you dummies? Use your brains before getting defensive and writing comments with limited overall perspectives. Everyone who has truly taken some form of psychedelics under proper settings will tell you it's one of the most profound and beautiful moments of their life, so much so that they are becoming more and spiritual BUT I bet you 99% of us would love to achieve the state completely sober and have the power to do it and HOLD the feeling at will. That's why you guys are now here trying to learn from Sadgurus wisdom while still getting defensive about the things he says that you don't agree with but no taking into consideration what would happen to his reputation and credibility if he started to advocate for it. Personally, I've experienced both the bliss of mediation and the wonder of psychedelics. Psychedelic wins on Saturday by a country mile, Mediation wins the marathon. It's time for you spiritual seekers to stop being so sensitive and learn to see past these pitfalls. Learn to power down the intellectual part of your mind and access other areas of understanding and awareness, in other words, Switch the F on. Otherwise, you'll miss it. The tagline was his insights on psychedelics and the question was about micro dosing LSD yet he rambled on to talk about Olympic athletes dying (who died from steroid use having nothing to do with psychedelics), caffeine, cocaine, and other things also having nothing to do with psychedelics. People have also died from motorcycle accidents and yet I don’t hear him judging motorcycle riding (which he does himself). When asked about what it is like to die, a wise Zen master answered “I don’t know? I have never died.” Clearly Sad Guru has never tried psychedelics and therefore has no business talking about it. Many people’s lives have been saved by psychedelics because it contributed to their healing of trauma and depression infinitely faster than years of meditation might. Ram Das (who has a lot of experience with psychedelics) answered the question concerning psychedelics with much better clarity when he said that they will introduce and show you the mountain top or the Christ consciousness but will not keep you there. I like to think of psychedelics as a crutch. I will use just one metaphor about crutches. When my children were learning to walk as babies, they used crutches (like a sofa, chair, or table) to help them stand and balance enough to walk. They might have walked without them but the crutches were helpful as they began walking. That said if they were still dependent on for years after they began walking, that is an indicator of a dependency and the same is true about psychedelics (even though they typically do not cause chemical but only psychological dependencies). At some point, a wise person realizes that there is nothing outside of them that they don’t already have within.

Shrooms arent addictive but they will show you the mystical realm. Is Yoga better? 100% i believe we can reach the mystical realm with out them but shrooms helped me alot in my life and also helped me believe in guys like Sadhguru in the first place. I think the world is desperate for spirituality. Shrooms are the emergency kit to get us to start our Yogic journey, atleast thats what happened to me

Im yust glad tove finally found balance, to drink once a week. And people like Sadhguru and other spiritual speakers keep me away from overuse. Balance. Alcohol, absinthe in particular has helped me in lyric-writing. Its a lucid drunk as most of you know.

It's obvious why they're not going to show the amount of dislikes for this video. While mister sadguru has some intelligent points in some of his videos, the majority of his videos are actually pretty generic with the information they pedal. It's a shame that even though mr. sadguru can stimulate his third eye and release DMT all on his own, for whatever reason he's so many levels below great teachers like Alan Watts Terence McKenna Baba Ram Dass, etc, etc... maybe he needs to wiggle his pineal gland a little harder so he can self-release a bigger dose of DMT😉

I have had 8-10 shroom trips till now. The maximum dose I had once was 4.5g of African strain. What I realised from my psychaledic trip is that if we don't abuse them they are actually far better than smoking, alcohol and even marijuana. It helped me with my addictions, went through the phase of self realization, ego death and got interested in sprituality and mysticism. Some chemicals and plants in this world actually do have healing powers. Nature is like a treasure, it's still unexplored.

I suggest Sadhguru tries psychedelics himself, so he understands better, what he is talking about. As a man of knowledge it is crucial to only talk about things which you know about. His best option would be going to Kerala (India) and collecting some Psilocybe keralensis mushrooms on elephant poop. Like Ganesha, the Psilocybe mushrooms temporarily remove all obstacles. And often they can unlock the third eye. For physical and mental preparation he can ask Mesoamericans, as it has been part of their religion for thousands of years. It is a pity that Hindus did not discover these mushrooms yet. He can change this, and enable millions of people to open their third eye with a high success rate.

I remember this video. Each soul has their own path to walk. And none of us know anything. The wise are wise because of their awareness of how little they know. Give 2 people the same substance and you have 2 unique experiences. 1 may find their soul, 1 may find their demons. The worst thing anyone can do is project what's good for themselves on another. Anyone who follows another's path is walking into a trap. Any real help is givin by turning a person away from you into themselves. Each person has thier own unique path to walk. How can you tell them how they should walk it. It's not anyone's right to do so... don't listen to me or sadhguru, listen to your own soul, and whatever you find there, share it, but don't push it on anyone. Namaste.

I love sadhguru but I dont agree with him on this one at all and it's actually psychedelics that made me open my mind to his teachings. Tbh he seems very misinformed here and I personally think before asking anyone to educate you on psychedelics. You should first ask have you tried it. If the answer is no. Dont bother with the question and he is talking some crazy contradictory stuff here. How is the goverment making money off people using psychedelics when lsd literally made people give up on being in the working class and just live to be happy without need of the system.
