The African Male Iris
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 22 มิ.ย. 2023
We have finally launched our podcast named The African Male Iris.
This podcast comes from a societal need for the modern African man to fully express himself as an integral part of family and community and his commitment to help shape future generations. All men should be self-aware of the role they play in achieving this.
We will be discussing different issues that affect African men such as mental health, social pressures, dating and relationships (all from a male perspective).

All the ladies using "they" when speaking.... "i agree when women cheat "they" do it intentionally" 😂 So only angels attended eeh?
Great show guys, I learn a lot 🙏🏽
Thank you for watching
She was absolutely right
Wow this is wonderful. I think we the women don't give time to listen to the men.
@florencedrateru2793 thank you for making the time to watch 🙌🏾
So wish it can travel across the country....Some of us would love to be part of such spaces. .
Indeed . Please reach us on our socials on how best we can put ur points across. We can explore options of video or audio messages that can be played live
That lady actually analyzes things perfectly well. Submission will be natural once a man creates a safe environment. Personally I have a strong personality and am too opinionated and strong will. So a man doesn't create that space forget it.
@@chunadine7795 we would definitely like to have you for one of our live events
Do they till love people for who they are? My take is you grow everyday we should be flexible to this. Tje world is too sick now because of this statement yhat take me the way I'm. To me is a NO. It a relationship we need to compromise and step up to strike a balance ⚖️
Balance is always important indeed
I followed this show on TikTok and now I'm here to continue 😅😅. This show is a great Meder. I wish to be part of this show from Cameroon 🇨🇲
Thank you Chunadine. We appreciate the support. If you ever come to Johannesburg please reachout to us via tiktok
A good platform for men
@@MoleheTsiane-l6m much appreciated. We will keep pushing 🙌🏾

We appreciate the love , thank you Brian!
Big shout out to The African Male Iris on creating a platform for men to express themselves.
Much Appreciated. We will always make an effort to add value for men and give us a voice...
This was the Best show about Relationship
@obuilemangundu81 glad you enjoyed. Our second live event will be on youtube from next week
Women also cheat for the sake of wanting to cheat, "he looked rich, he was available" etc arent the reasons. A person who wants to cheat, cheats because there's a void within themselves and they cannot articulate that to their partner because most of the time they themselves cannot process and sit with the loneliness/void/ or uncomfortability so they seek a distraction. The reasons why women make the best cheats is because they do not change and the reason for them not changing is because they do not want to leave their partners. The society we live in, patriarchy makes women the best liars because how does a "good" woman say I slept with him cause he looked delicious without being judged??? I hope niyangizwa.
Wow she was so candid. I love how she broke down how she went through an abusive relationship and how hard it is to leave.
@@Memoanesu she is probably the best female guest we have had so far...
@@TheAfricanMaleIris I agree
Reconciliation is damakak😂🙅
There's no woman in the world who would what?😂😂. You don't know yourselves you people.
The speaker is a simple, what does it look like creating a heaven for a women?
Dope dope event, it was nice to be a part of it. Looking back on this I think LucyPearl made a great point and I agree with her, these conversations are meant to build families.
I see you Rex.😎
Enjoyed the show Guys... My view from conversations and feedback from the audience is that we should have a balance in every thing i.e. Balance in love, respect, appreciation, learn each other and be cognisant of each others situations at all time. Very easy to say tho😮
@zombesikazwe7493 very true indeed. We need to appreciate that every opinion or experience matters and there is always an opportunity to learn
Twanda 😅😅... That's my Guy!!!
@@zombesikazwe7493 👏🏿😎
80 20 is the real problem in today ships.
How so my brother? Please elaborate on that I wanna understand your perspective
This episode is so interesting however on the part why do we overlook redflags... Id like to believe that in a relationship when we see red flags, like lying, is a complicated choice. It's important to understand why we stay. Men may lie, but that's not the only reason. We might stay because we're scared, hopeful, or feel connected. We need to recognize our own strength and make choices that are good for us, so we can move on from harmful relationships.
@dithapelop3668 that is a great contribution. Other people have a fear of starting over and not knowing if there will be someone else who will be willing to go all the way with them... The challenge is those red flags are then magnified once in a committed relationship.
Not to be dramatic but that’s my cousin right there🥹❤️…beautiful, well-spoken and very intelligent.
@@nomveloncube5219 Zinzie definitely brought a lot of value to the Podcast 👏🏿

Just watched a few minutes of the podcast but true men and women respond different to scenarios. Though I feel you guys have established a good platform but now work on viewer engagement. Get interactive with your audience to get better results.
Hi George. Thank you for your comment. How would you suggest in terms of the podcast having more engagement with you?
@@TheAfricanMaleIris so on other channels you can have question and answer sessions live, you could have a live chat section, also get user interface in some of the podcasts
Makwande Kings, thank you for this platform. What an amazing, insightful interview, siyabonga. May it be shared widely, to reach more Kings who need to hear this wisdom. Keep up the excellent work and looking forward to more sit downs with our elders (even in business/retired professionals). Makwande A-Team 🙏🏽👑❤️
Thank you Nobuhle . We thank Sandile for being open and taking time to share experiences with the younger generation of Men
Please can we have a link to her preservatives company and the Biltong Brand
Thank you to Zinzie for being very open and honest... This episode will definitely help a lot of people out there....
So profound!!
A lot of wisdom and knowledge behind every answer
Interesting conversation, big shout out to the ladies for sharing their lived experiences and posing pointed questions.
Agreed Rex. The ladies were being real which allowed the conversation to be relatable
Great episode guys keep up the good work
Much appreciated Tauya. Thank you
Thank you for your perspective on modern day relationships gentlemen.
He's not lying about the testosterone. *Laughs in bass*😂😂😂
🤣
Great content. Very informative. Go Rexes❤
Looking forward to seeing this when it drops
We do not make use of the older generation enough. Sandile was happy to sit down with younger men and share his experiences and life lessons
LOL start an anti-church podcast? Prayer is wild for that. But I think @theafricanmaleiris should do an episode looking at reasons why people leave the church and approach it in way that build people in church and is not setup to be antagonistic to the church body. Bu t Shudu and Ndivhu, wow what a story loved the journey and the story. What a tale of triumph.
We like your angle. A topic worth discussing as most of Africans have grown up in Christianity and can relate how different the experience is from childhood to adulthood
Someone pleases give this man a car LOL, dope spin to a controversial topic
Much appreciated
Really loving the idea of the 3 of you gent doing a show together. I'd pay to see that. Good insights shared on the contrasts with respect to the Zim and SA entertainment industry.
Definitely not the last time we are coming together
